We found an offer on Groupon to book a river tubing event with this company and booked our trip for Sunday, July 22nd 2018. Our trip was cancelled due to weather via an email the night before. We emailed the company to reschedule and received a response on July 26th through email stating they are very busy during "on" season and that they were booked for the following weekend and someone would call me to reschedule. When they finally called, they told me all the weekend dates in August were booked and they had a few weekends in September and told me to call back to schedule a date once we looked at our calendar. Once we did, we realized we had prior obligations on the only open dates so I called back, once again, no answer and no response to voicemail. I left another email on August 3rd and I received a response same day telling me I could use the voucher for the 2019 season. I sent them an email in March of this year to reschedule the trip and received a response a month later that the calendar was up and they would be calling me. Someone called me about a week later and we booked for July 13th. Once again, the night before, we received an email that due to rain, the trip was cancelled and we needed to reschedule. I emailed them back and asked for a representative to call me. I hadn't heard from anyone by the 17th, so I called the number in the email three times, it rings and disconnects. I went to their website and found another number which worked but went to voicemail, so I left a message. Two days later, I still hadn't received a response so I went to the contact form on their web page and left a message through that to contact me. I received a message from Joey Vulpis stating someone would contact me. I received a call but was unable to pick it up as I was at work. I called back immediately and there was no answer and no machine. I received an email stating they tried to call me and to call them back, which I did twice leaving messages. I received no call back. I emailed them and told them that I missed the call and asked if they could call me back to reschedule on July 20th and it is now August 5th and I have received no call nor a response to my email. The customer service is non existent and at this point I just have to consider my money lost as I have not received the services I paid for. Will not be contacting them again.
Hi Josh! From our records, it seems your refund was issued. WHy review us for our activities when you were purchasing a book? Why not review our pro-shop where you ordered the book from? Really not right on your end to review this way. You also don't realize the impact a bad review has on a business and during current times.

I had ordered a book from their gear shop that they own in June, and was due to print in October. I hadnt heard anything and asked for a refund, which they said they would send. Its months later and now they no longer respond, and no refund. Its a shame because I took a class with them for top rope anchors but this has soured that experience and I can no longer recommend them. In response to owner: You were proud to say you owned the gear shop and it is linked directly on your site-there is no option to review your gear shop alone. I tried contacting you and your company for months via email, phone calls, and Instagram. I was ignored on all platforms, and it wasnt until I wrote this review did you respond and issue the refund, a full 5 months after the promised delivery date. Will upgrade to 2 stars since refund was issued.

To be on an adventure with Northeast Guiding is so cool!!!! Pretty sure I keep coming back just for the laughs and fun employees lol! My niece keeps asking me when we're going to go climbing rocks again! I can't say enough about these great people! They make outdoor adventure safe and fun!

NMG is awesome! my kids and family go out with them several times a year and we always have a great time. Joey and his team are superb! Affordable, very responsive and so much fun!
This company has terrible customer service. Had a guys day trip planned with them beginning of August and they cancelled on us the night before due to "bad weather" but the day ended up being clear and sunny. Now we're trying to get a refund which was told to us on August 19th that it would be processed and we still haven't received it and were in September. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. I dont recommend using this company.
