I had heard so.many good things only to finally get here and be disappointed. The mac n cheese was watery and the pork chops were leather that is how hard they were fried. I hope it was this way only because it was close to closing and not on a regular. Idk if I would revisit.

Today was my first time visiting Evelyns. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and the food was delicious. However, I had a couple of issues. When I walked in, I didnt know whether to sit somewhere or wait to be seated. Finally, a waitress told me to seat myself which was fine except there were no clean tables. I sat at a table with the least amount of dishes. When the waitress came to clean my table, she gave 4 wipes - Im not being dramatic. There was still evidence of food on the table from the previous patrons. I eventually placed my order. It took 38 minutes for my food to arrive. Thats a long time to me. The food though, was delicious. I tasted maybe too much salt in the gravy, but it was tolerable.
