I give Bluffs Vision a 3 because we have experienced both sides of the customer service spectrum there. The only reason I gave them a 3 and not a 1, was due to their Optometrist and assistants. They treated myself and my children with respect and did a great job explaining things and being patient. Then we come to other side of the coin. When it comes time to choosing your glasses, do not expect much help. They don't do much in the way of helping you find frames that fit. As in our case, we had recently switched to Bluffs Vision Care due to our health insurance coverage changing. With our new coverage our children get a free exam and free eyeglasses. Once the person found that out, they led us to a little two row section and said, you can choose from here. We got the call to pick up my daughter's glasses today. When we went in they handed us the glasses and that was that in their mind. My wife asked about fitting them and the "help" (and I use that term loosely), said "Do they need fitted?" After it was proved that they did indeed need fitting, the "help" gave in and did something. I guess we are just used to Dr. Jill Schneider's office where they cared for us as customers and made sure we were getting quality and a good fit. They would actually take the time to help us find frames that fit our faces and when the glasses were done would take the time to make sure they were cleaned off and fit on our faces the way they should. So, Bluffs Vision Care, just fine and dandy for the actual eye appointment and getting them checked out, but I would give my money and my time to someplace else with better service when it comes to laying down money for glasses.
We are sorry that you feel you were rushed through your exam, as we take our time to make sure every patients vision and health concerns are thoroughly covered. As discussed, we would be happy to have your child in to recheck there prescription, but unfortunately when a prescription goes up in power it does take both children and adults time to adjust to their new glasses.

The were very rude and rushed us thru. My child ended up with really bad lenses. They hurt his eyes and were so distorted that he was tripping up stairs and getting nausea and headaches. They said he HAD to wear them for a week before they would do anything about it. They refused to fix them or give a refund. If there was 0 stars, that's what they earned. Reporting the charge as fraud to my bank and reporting to the BBB if they don't refund me.

I called to check if my glasses were ready, 3 weeks after ordering them. The receptionist answered, asked for me to hold and never came back to the line. I waited on hold for 15 minutes and finally hung up. #onlineorderingishwereitisat
