I go here all the time and usually dont have any issues. Its convenient for me as its only 10 min from my residence. Most workers there are positive or might be having a tough day (totally understand), but you can easily lighten their spirits by being a normal human being and talk to them and brighten their day if you are respectful. However, the last time I went I tried to get a re-title for my motorcycle, one of the ladies was a brut. She told me I couldnt get it re-titled because I was missing a form from 1 seller to the next. I had a MVR4 form from the one seller to me but missing the one from the first seller to the guy I was buying off of. She was correct there. She then said the seller I was buying from could not use the title from the original seller as it was a Florida title. She then started to fill out the back of the Florida title for the guy I was buying the motorcycle from which I would imagine is illegal. All this after she told me he couldnt sign the back of that title. A little suspicious and maybe malicious. I got it straightened out by talking to the guy I bought the motorcycle from and his relationship with the Waynesville, NC office. Ill go back but hope that I dont deal with the same person, just that one lady. Everyone else there like I said is a delight to work with even though they might be having a tough day. Treat them with respect and a normal human being and you will walk out with a positive attitude 95% of the time.
Terrible service. Staff is rude and unwilling to help you out or explain anything. They turned me away twice due to an issue on their end. Go to the office in Marshall, NC. Worth the drive and the staff is absolutely amazing. They resolved my issue within minutes, where as the office off Smokey Park Hwy turned me away two days in a row.
Ms. Min, I overheard the entire conversation you had today in our office. In your review, you did leave out several details about your interactions and visit to our office. As our employee tried to explain to you about your DMV late fee, you simply did not want to hear or accept his explanation. Our office cannot refund, reduce or eliminate any DMV late fee assigned to you. At some point after repeated explanations, we must try to end the transaction.

I had a gentlemen that sent me back home on 1/10/2018 saying that my vehicle property tax and registration card was paid for after looking up my information via 2017 registration card and that I would get the new registration card through mail. Well, it never came and I went back today to renew but the same gentlemen told me Ill have to pay the late fee and didnt know what I was talking about and saying that he doesnt remember me. I said check the recorded camera on the day I came to renew and basically blew me off that it never happened, he knows how to do his job, I was lying, and told me you pay the fee to renew or you dont. The worst service ever. Just blew my mind.
