We bought out 3rd vehicle from McCord's in March of 2020. I am very disappointed in the service we received after we purchased the vehicle? We purchased a pre-owned truck from them 14 yrs ago. In July of 2017 we purchased a 2017 Ram Laramie from them and then last month we purchased a 2016 Chrysler 300C. The salesman Jon was very friendly and personable during the test drive and close of the sale. The sale took place on a Saturday evening, Sunday as we were sitting in the car reading the vehicle book we found that the back window shade was broke and the backup camera only worked once in awhile. I called Jon the salesman early Monday and told him the 2 issues we had found and ask for them to be fixed. During this call it was like talking to a different person then the one we dealt with Saturday evening. He told me he was going to talk to the manager to see about having our issues fixed and an appointment was set up a day later. I was under the impression these items were both going to be fixed, needless to say I was wrong. They fixed the backup camera and told me they had to order a part for the shade and they would call me when the part was in. I never heard back from them so I called them a week and a half larer. At this point I was told they too would have to speak to the manager about fixing it, and would call me when they found out anything. Again I never heard back from anyone. Once again I called them and told the service manager I needed to talk to Richard and explained to her what my problem was. She told me Richard was on another call and she would have him call me. This was over 3 weeks ago and still no return call. I guess loyalty is only one sided as far as McCord's is concerned. Well I will tell anyone that will listen don't deal with them, once the sale is made they don't care about you. If they've done this to us how many other customers have they done this too after they make their sale... .
Misleading and dishonest business practices during buying process. Warranty has proven thus far to only cover 60% of repairs that I have needed. Amanda Bowen was unbelievably rude without provocation. Your hard earned money would be better spent elsewhere.
