UPDATE, 10/17/22: Despite being assured by the staff at the Collision Center that parts were being ordered and a promise to update me on any progress- even if it was negative progress- on at least an every other week basis, it's now been at least another month or more (visit I paid to collision center referenced above was on September 13th, 2022) since I stopped into the shop and have received no communication/updates from Secor Collision Center either by email or by phone. As the customer, I should not responsible for continuing to follow up- I was assured that ongoing, regular contact would begin in light of my previous complaint. Again, I hold owner CHARLES SECOR personally accountable for the need to revise this review with a rating of ONE star (since I have no option to do so any lower) and for the negative light it casts upon an otherwise fine group of body shop personnel. It is his own business office's mismanagement of Secor Collision Center that created this now MONTHS-long service debacle. It would be my strongest recommendation that anyone sent there by their insurance companies or otherwise reconsider doing any business with Charles Secor and Secor Collision Center. While I am extremely frustrated with the collision center's poor communication/phone system and its ownership, I want to note that both Laura and John in Collision Technology were EXTREMELY responsive, helpful, and professional. My rating above is based entirely on the failure of ownership (CHARLES SECOR) to properly support his otherwise excellent staff in the body shop (have had NO communication from the dealership after arranging service on 8/9/22 for replacement of an antenna/sharkfin trim, as well as an estimate on body damage stemming from a hit-and-run accident TWO AND A HALF WEEKS AGO, despite calling/leaving detailed voicemails with the dealership over a three-week period. Staff cites concerns with an apparent phone system "upgrade???"). Update- awaiting a phonecall from Charles Secor so I can formally file a complaint against the dealership (if he does call, will get back to him and update this at MY convenience/discretion entirely).
I stopped by this business today with my dually for an estimate and was treated with the upmost respect. Initially greeted by Laura P. and then met her associate John P. who both were beyond pleasant. It really goes a long way to have such a welcoming personality and most importantly be so knowledgeable in their craft. Honestly people like this deserve to be acknowledged.
