I have used Portsmouth Autobody many times over the years and have always been very happy with their results. However, I did not have the same experience this time. Our car needed a new windshield and a good buffing to get out some scratches. A very easy and straight forward job. The car sat at the shop for two weeks and they didnt do anything with it. They didnt reach out for me to sign a work order, nothing. So with my insurance companys blessing, I picked up the car and went elsewhere. The new place is getting it done in under a week.

When they give a date the car will be done, dont expect it to be done that date. This is now the 4th time they have said my car would be done when its not done.

Had an accident with a SUV that was new and only had 7,500 miles. Portsmouth Auto Body was great! Their process and communications were professional, clear and easy to understand. They kept us up to speed on the status throughout the repair. The car was returned to manufactures specifications and in this instance, was even brought to a dealership so the work could be certified. New car came back feeling and looking new again! Dont like having accidents.but if I do, Ill use and recommend Portsmouth Auto Body. Great experience for what can often be an unpleasant situation. Nice work!

We have used them in the past were great.we used them recently horrible.they said car was ready got there all shiny washed backed in.we asked if we could go look at it after the lady in front of us was displeased with her fix.we looked it over missing bolts under the hood ,dust marks in paint,got the manager and shop foreman they said well it hasn't had final inspection.hmmmm why is it all washed tires shining ready to go.well they kept it gave us a rental finished it.well it's not the way it was.gave them one star because I got the car back
