I purchased a 2014 Mazda cx-5 at the Annaplois MD location less than two years ago. My rear brake indicators started squealing a week ago on the rear pads. Upon googling a part number for pads to be delivered to my mechanic, I came across a plethora of complaints of premature rear brake failure in the 2013-2015 cx-5. Mazda bought back all rotors and pads, thus you could not order pads or rotors. Mazda sent a service notice to dealerships and some repaired the problem at no cost to the customer. This is a safety concern and certainly not normal wear and tear. My front pads have 50% pad life and I drive a manual transmission. I should not be replacing rear pads at 55,000 miles. I called and spoke with Rob at the Annaplois Fitzgerald Service Department, he belittled my knowledge, told me he had not repaired rear brakes on any other Mazda cx-5. Rob insisted that the rear brake pad is THINNER than the front pad and is going to wear sooner than the front pads as "normal wear and tear". I do not recommend a dealer that will not stand by their product, accept problems, and offer a solution to that problem. I will be complaining to the BBB, State Attorney General, and anyone else who cares to listen.

I went to look at a 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS here. They gave me a list of parts and labor "they found" that needed to be done to pass md state inspection. They were all normal wear and tear problems. I TEST DROVE THE CAR AND APPLIED MY SCAN TOOL TO THE CAR AND FOUND OUT IT HAS A TRANSMISSION ISSUE WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER. THEY WOULDNT ACCOMODATE THE COST OF FIXING THE TRANSMISSION INTO THE PRICE. THEY RATHER "HAVE THEIR SHOP WORK ON IT" WHICH WOULD COST MORE THAN YOUR OWN PERSONAL MECHANIC FINDING YOU A DECENT REBUILT TRANSMISSION AND FIXING IT.. WHY WOULD A DEALER SPEND THE THOUSANDS IT COSTS TO FIX A TRANSMISSION ISSUE ON A CAR THEY HAVE LISTED FOR $3488 INSTEAD OF TAKING A THOUSAND OFF THE LIST PRICE FOR A GUARANTEED CASH SALE???? TAKE WHAT YOU WANT FROM THIS REVIEW...

The guys at the service desk where great to talk to and upfront about what I needed. Finished my car in a very reasonable amount of time. Sales floor was not jumping down my neck to sell me a car and could talk about their line of cars in good detail, especially their Mazdas. I used to go to JBA until they stopped selling Mitsubishi.
