Had to bring my car back as they installed a used window and in the light you could see a ton of small scratches. When we brought in a different vehicle, it had to be brought back 2 more times to have certain things redone. They did the fixes, but it was very inconvenient to be without a vehicle for a few extra days. This is just my experience, but I will not be using them again.
We are sorry that your repairs took longer than we originally expected. We estimate the cost and schedule the repair using standard industry repair times without actually taking your car apart, since you may not have us do the repair. The original estimate and timeline was based on standard insurance company guidelines. Once we started taking your car apart for repair we kept finding additional damage not expected using the standard guidelines. As we explained when you brought your car back in for service, many factors come into play when repairing a $9000.00 front end collision with multiple airbag and passenger restraint deployments. Since 1981 we have been repairing cars back to pre-accident condition. One of our goals is customer satisfaction, however, more importantly, our primary goal is customer safety. Due to the legal liability we assume after repairing a vehicle restraint system, we want our techs to take extra time ensuring the airbags and passenger restraints are installed to factory specifications, in the event that you or a loved one would ever have to experience another front end collision. Again, we apologize for the repair taking longer that we originally expected. It is unfortunate that we received a poor Google comment but we are confidant that the extra, unexpected time we spent repairing the safety systems in your car can make you and your loved ones safer should you have another serious accident. Our customer's safety is much more important to us than Google ratings. Drive safely and thank you for letting us repair your vehicle.

Never accept their dead lines cause they are always wrong. I have been given 4 different dead lines and my car still isn't finished its been over 2 weeks. I will never ever use again!
Professional service. I had a 3-way call with my insurance company with them and it was very easy to set up an appointment and explain to me what would be happening. They do all types of services and are very quick. From the time I dropped my car, it was don't in a week. Even washed it when it was done. Would take my car here again.
Thank you for your positive review. Working with insurance companies is time consuming but we have experience with this and we will get things settled so we can repair your car back to the way it was before the accident. We hope you don't have another accident but thanks for putting us at the top of your list if you do.

I had a collision repair on a car that had front and rear end damage. It was an involved repair. First of all, these guys will answer the phone or get back to you. Before I got lucky enough to stumble upon GIS Automotive, 3 other well known local shops that I contacted wasted my time asking me all kinds of questions, said that they would get me on the schedule and then never got back to me at all. It was as if those other shops didn't want the business and did not care about the customer. Well, GIS is different. Their communication is outstanding. One of the most important things that they do for the customer is to work with the insurance company on the customer's behalf. The insurance company was giving me a big runaround and their adjuster failed to "notice" many damaged parts on the car that were clearly visible to me and anyone else who would take 5 minutes to actually look at the car. Sean from GIS spent countless hours on my behalf with the insurance company folks getting it all settled fairly and accurately for me. My car is a somewhat limited production sports car and many dealers who show parts in stock on their websites did not actually them in stock after all. Even with all of the backordered parts in the mix, GIS kept busy on the parts of the car that could be worked on and got the car done on schedule to my satisfaction. They are honest and show you, or give you back, all of the old parts so that you know exactly what they did and what had to be repaired or replaced. In the end I got a great repair. You could never tell that anything had ever happened to my car. It is as good or is better than new. I hope that I never need collision work again but if I do I am going straight back to GIS.
I suggest you be aware of this place when buying a used car. I just bought a truck from them a few months back. I was told there was "no rust." "It was garage kept." "It's basically a new truck." Those were lies. The rust was covered over with bedliner. I was told there is nothing mechanically wrong with the truck. After driving less than 2000 miles both front O2 sensors went bad. I have a pretty strong suspicion the faults were cleared and not actually fixed before they sold the truck to my family. I have to get quite a bit of work done on a truck that cost me $14,000. When I called about the rust I was told they didn't have time for it and that they don't do body work like that.I trusted them when they told me it was a good vehicle. Always do your own research. Don't trust. I have pics
