I had to return a leased car that my dad was driving, sadly he passed recently which is why I needed to explore the options available. I went to Mazda and the sales rep that assisted me was clearly not interested in helping at all, his body language and the way he spoke to me was extremely disrespectful. The only option they gave me was to pay the remaining payments on the lease and just return the car which obviously didnt make sense from an economic standpoint. I was foolishly hoping that they would buy out the lease since dad isnt driving it. I was told there was no equity in the car, gave me a payoff amount and quickly and rudely was dismissed. The best part of the experience is that I called Carvana to explore the options and to my surprise there was equity in the car. They made me an offer to buy the lease and I got a check for $9K!!!! No joke!! I couldnt believe it. I cant describe how shady the dealership was. So my advice is to contact Carvana if your lease is almost up because they are straight forward, honest and the whole transaction was so easy. NEVER go to Crystal Auto Mall.
The sales people are liars - don't trust anything they said on phone. I was buying a Camry LE; on phone they quoted the best price (double confirmed by Jeff). I went in but were told that they made a mistake and I have to pay $1500 more for the exactly same car; I insisted on the quoted price, but were told "you have the right to leave". I called Jeff again in hope that they will keep their promise, the answer was "I didn't make a promise." Hm, then what was it that he was making? A nonsense?!
Wael George Ragaie was the nicest car salesman there. We got a super good deal on our car after hours of deciding which one we wanted. He even stayed after hours to help us close the deal and added on some extra perks when he didn't have to. He was very happy that we left with a car that we liked. George has earned a 5 stars from me.
I brought my highlander in to the service department for what I believed to be an issue with my rear wheel bearing. I could hear and feel a vibration from the back of my vehicle. I was told the service department couldnt find an issue with the wheel bearing and that I needed a new transmission for approx $5000. The customer service reps delivered the news along with several scare tactics to try and persuade me to fix it right away. I got my car back and brought it to another mechanic who put it on a lift, showed me the wobbly bearing and fixed it for $600. No more noise. It has been several months now and thankfully the car is running fine. I dont appreciate being lied to in attempt to take advantage and charge for unnecessary repairs. This should be illegal.
