My experience with the customer service here is why I'm giving this place 1 star. After the diagnostic, I decided to have my car looked at by my regular mechanic. Here's an excerpt of my conversation with one of the guys at Complete Auto Service: Me, "I'd like to have my car towed to another mechanic." Them, "Can I ask why you want your car towed to another repair shop when they haven't even looked at your car?" Me, "This place has worked on my car before, so I'm more comfortable with them working on it." Them, "Is this the guy who told you that catalytic converters aren't important?" Me, "No." Before the diagnostic, I asked them about catalytic converters because I'd heard that they shouldn't cause cars to be non drive-able (from what I've read on Google). The questions he asked needed to be phrased politely in order for them to be acceptable and professional. If you'd like to see more examples, just look at how they respond to unfavorable reviews. I saved over $300 and better quality of service elsewhere.

***PLEASE READ*** This review is not accurate. We please ask you to make your review TRUTHFUL. The accusations you have made are not accurate and are not fair to our employees. Your wife authorized the repairs on the vehicle. Now you are mad because you could have done the work yourself. Your wife brought the vehicle into us for a burning smell, she was unsure what the issue was. This was an emergency service because she had to get to another appointment. We performed a complete brake inspection. We found the drivers side rear caliper to be staying applied at all times (causing the brakes to get VERY hot) and the passenger rear caliper to be seized ( Not working). Both rear calipers are faulty. Your wife never asked for a printed quote. We have never and will never refuse to print a quote. Your wife was given multiple different repair options. You then spoke to her on the phone. Then she gave us approval to repair the rear brakes. We would appreciate it if you would remove or change your review based on the service we provided you.

My wife brought our vehicle in for a passenger side brake sticking. They quoted over $800 for a full brake job. We told them we only wanted the caliper replaced. They refused to provide a printed quote and charged over $500 because they replaced both calipers when only one was faulty

it's a very nice shop. I did not have an appointment. but I needed my oil changed they worked me in. and had my oil changed faster than any oil changing shop. I've ever been in. Nice and honest people.

Benjamin, Sorry to hear about your concern with our pricing besides to read your low score review which seems unjust when we actually did not make any kind of repairs for you. We inspected your brakes and found out that not only did you need brakes but one of the brake pads was mission and that your plow truck is not safe to drive with a seized brake caliper so we did suggest replacing both front calipers. Obviously you declined the repair quote since you did not like the price. The score or rating system is not only about price it is about being professional, communication, factual, and accurate information. When you came in this morning on short notice you had mentioned that you usually repair your own brakes but since it is so cold that you brought it in to us besides that you even talked about maybe getting your own parts after asking what kind of parts that we use. Please call around and pay attention when I just called 3 other shops in the area we were slightly less than the other shops. BTW we only came down to $600 on your quote from $800 by offering to just replace the one caliper from replacing both to give you price options besides replacing the brake pads and rotors..

Long but helpful post: You can certainly go elsewhere and get the same job done for cheaper. They claim to have good quality parts, but you will pay the price for it. I took my truck elsewhere and got the same job done for $516 for what would have been over $860 here. They charge $115 per hour for labor and the owner told me they pay their employees well and give good benefits so that's where some of your money is going. I can respect that, but for an average guy like me, I can't afford $860 for breaks, rotars and 2 calipers. Also, when they put my brakes "back together" so I could go somewhere cheaper I could hardly stop. They didn't take the time to ensure it was safe for me to drive elsewhere.
