A very disappointing experience. Personalized pricing tool on your website doesnt work. Sales person doesnt return phone calls. A call to the sales manager was deflected to another unhelpful sales person. In a world filled with choices, choose another dealer.

I am looking to purchase a new Defender. I have purchased from Reeves in the past but they had none in stock. I know that the supply is scarce. I saw that Lakeland had a few in stock. I communicated with them and they gave me the price. I came in to purchase one only to find out that some were marked up $10,000 and others were $30,000 over MSRP. I told them I understood but would not pay that and left. Three times over the last month they have called me to see if I still wanted one. I went through the story and was told they were going to get me a deal I was crystal clear every time I would not pay over MSRP. After wasting much time we would get down to the price and they added the $10,000 to one and the $30,000 to another. When I questioned it they never called, emailed or text me back. I understand it they make a decision to charge more money, some people will pay it but they seemed to always try to hide or conceal what they were doing. I dont think that they are trustworthy

I originally wrote a bad review regarding a request that wasnt honored however, the salesman ended up being really helpful and we determined that it was human error, which I get. What I dont get is their request for a non-refundable deposit of $1000 on a new order. If they lowball my trade in (which is very likely with dealers) then I am out a $1000. In this market, if we dont make a deal, they can sell it for over MSRP. They take no risk, I do yet I have to risk even more with a non-refundable deposit. I will not buy from them and will not recommend them. I changed it from 1 star to 3 stars because the salesman was very helpful and new his job.
