All item/part returned for refund to Brentwood Autos require proof of purchase, returned within stated return time and our standard T & C followed. We are pleased to confirm all refund are issued within 24 hours, if the above is provided/adhered to. If this review is in regards to a partial refund on an engine which required engine head resurfacing. Please note we received letter from customer 26/8/2020 with details to make partial refund but unfortunately customer did not provide contact number or proof of the work carried out as we originally requested to enable us to issue partial refund. We did not receive proof of the work carried out from customer until 1/9/2020, customer was then contacted to confirm we had received requested information and refund will be issued. AVOID... they are worse than the CORONAvirus. I have been waiting for a refund for 5 weeks, totally different story every time. Rob is a total liar and all other at this company, keep the money , Please use REDCON spares , they are fantastic unlike these rip off's. I really thought that Brentwood spares were a proper English firm but very disappointed.

Refused to give me a refund for a part that was incompatible for my car. Problem has now been fixed elsewhere but they won't give me a refund for the part that is within the 28 day return period - only an exchange was offered and I do not know what part I would even need as I cannot access that part of the car - i'm no mechanic. Surely a refund is applicable if the wrong part is supplied... these are financially tough times for all and I have taken back the part in the exact same condition it was supplied to me in. I could receive a refund and they could sell it on and everyone would be happy but now I am left out of pocket and with a part that is no good for me. Despite this the staff were friendly, but I disagree strongly with the refund/exchange policy
