Tim, I am sorry it has taken a while for us to address your concern. As I understand it you have since had conversations with our service manager to help resolve these problems. But from what I can tell when your truck was towed into our shop we gave you an estimate and you only authorized repairs on the front end. Having the remainder of the work declined we hope that everyone was safe during what sounds like an intense situation on the highway. 03/2014 I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 4x4. My front passenger axle needed replaced as well as the stub shaft that connects from the axle to the differential. I removed the old axle for it couldn't be driven the way it was, and saw that the other axle and stub shaft probably needed replaced too. I drove it to the Liberty Dodge and spoke with Sean Smith the Service Advisor there. I was quoted $861 on the phone and after looking at their very vague list of parts and labor sheet they wanted me to sign, I noticed that none of the parts were itemized to see what they were doing. I asked about it and Sean lead me to the Parts Department to speak with Tyler. After showing Tyler the parts I needed on his computer, The stub shafts that I told them I needed replaced were not on the quote. So Sean Graciously told me that it looks Like my $861 quote is looking more towards $1000+. I told him over the phone that I wanted those replaced, so why weren't they on the quote? I don't remember what he said, but I am sure it was ridiculous. So I said whatever just do it and left my truck there to be done. I was called the next day by Sean, who said that when Brad the Mechanic had replaced both axles and stub shafts, and noticed that my passenger wheel bearing really needed replaced. I said ok, for, I am sure it did too. Went to Pick up my truck, and cringed that my bill came up to about $1500....But that wasn't soo bad, the work needed done. So I paid the bill and happily drove it outta there. I heard a Spooling up noise when I accelerated down the road, and the spooling noise died down when I slowed down. I attributed the noise to the new axles and didn't think too much of it at the time. Two Days Later, Whilst driving to work on the highway, my entire truck locks up, skids and jumps violently to a stop. Before it came to a complete stop I managed to skid it to the side of the highway. Luckily there were no cars around me or I would have surely wrecked. I called the Liberty Dodge and told them what happened and they told me to bring it back it in. It Wouldn't Move at all, so I had it towed. When I got there they lifted it up and said that the rear differential seized up and pretty much destroyed itself. I watched them take the back plate off of the diff cover and no differential fluid leaked out or anything, it was completely empty. There were chunks of metal from the gear ring and pinion everywhere. I recalled the SPOOLING noises I heard when I drove it off the Lot and asked if that was probably the rear differential grinding.........They replied that it most likely was. I asked Brad the mechanic If he heard that noise When he test drove it after he replaced my front axles? HE SAID HE DID!! I asked why he didn't Investigate the noise and he told me "You asked me to Replace the front axles, you didn't say anything about the rear." WHAT THE HECK!?!? REALLY!?!?!? Im pretty Sure I would ask that you replace the rear diff or anything that needed repaired before It shreds apart on the highway and kills me and other people. Sean was sooo nice to offer to replace the rear end for around $5000+ 12/2014 Thank you CSR for following up with my review. You mentioned that I declined your authorization to inspect the rear diff of my truck. Im 100% certain that whatever the mechanics listed to be done to my truck, you will find, I agreed to have replaced. It was definitely a frightening event on the highway that day. I feel if your company cares about their employees. Mechanics should inspect, or at least warn their customers about hazards that they hear, see or smell, that could potentially cause them to wreck. I found a whole rear end in Pennsylvania for $500. Had it inspected and tested by real mechanics that solely rely on their reputation as good mechanics to get customers. They work with their customers financially and do not cut corners.

Thank you for taking the time you leave a review. After speaking with all involved parties, we made sure you knew all of your options and we were very transparent about everything. We assured you multiple times that you can keep your vehicle, and we did not force you into purchasing a vehicle or warranties. Service said it will cost you $4,000 to fix a known problem with your Grand Caravan but hey we will pay it off and you can use it to buy a 12 year old over priced car. AND you must buy gap insurance and an extended a warranty for $4,000. $10k car buy the time you pay it off in 5 year you will pay 19k. Oh and we need $2k cash too.

I just purchased my 5th vehicle from Liberty and it's the only dealership in Columbus I will buy from. I couldn't be happier with my vehicles and the staff at the dealership is 5 star+! At first I was against going in to the dealership alone, as in the past, a woman trying to buy a car was usually taken advantage of. The staff immediately made me feel at ease and were totally respectful throughout the entire process. They have a great selection of vehicles and they work with you to get you into the vehicle you want, at the price you can afford. I have referred numerous friends and family to purchase from Liberty as well. I would highly recommend you save your time and go to Liberty to make your purchase and skip all the other dealers in town.

Worse place to take your vehicle for service especially if you serve our Great Country! Took car in, had diagnostic done, oil change, recalls, etc. Took car home parked in garage and then drove 2 days later just to have LEAKING COOLANT all over! Took to an EXPIERENCED MECHANIC and they said whomever did oil change and checked the coolant DID NOT know what they were doing. This place DID NOT put the oil cap on or the Coolant Reservoir Cap as collant and oil were everywhere. What a joke! Called to speak with management, left numerous messages and how convenient to deal with voicemail. Still no returned call and waste of money. Save yourself money, time, and headache go somewhere else that is professional and treats their customers with care. Other reviews I promise are family and friends of family etc. No Thank you. 0 Stars *UPDATE* Jessica did reachout in text message but No Thank You!!! I will do business elsewhere!!!!
