I would not do business with any auction that Joe Pyle owns or runs. We have had multiple problems for the past 2 years that still remain unresolved. I have never filed a lawsuit against anyone (or needed to) in my 38 years in the auto business but am seriously considering doing so at this point. My son and I both have called and spoken with several different auction employees who say they dont have authority to do anything. We have been referred to managers and never received a single phone call from them. Several employees told us that it sounds like we need to talk to Joe Pyle but that has never happened either. My son got as far as his personal assistant who said she would set up a conference call that has never happened. We bought between 100-150 cars from Pyle last year and apparently I business is not important to him. I have spoken to floor plan reps that have told me about other dealers having serious problems there and that I should stay away from there. Capital City Auto Auction is their sister auction and is absolutely terrible. If anyone wants details or has any questions, I will be glad to share my many misfortunes there with you. Post sale inspections that the vehicle was never inspected and showed up with frame damage, 4 wheel drive inoperable, etc. Also a truck damaged while being unloaded by their hauler we have never been paid for. Should I go on?
The worst auto auction ever they use deceptive practices when taking pictures of the vehicles. Spoke to Chad Garrison from the auction he is of no help what so ever never even bothered to call me back. They just lost a good buyer because of this.
Buyers beware, arbitration is non existent pretty much. No comparison to Adesa or Manheim. Sky high fees and zero customer service. Just stay away.
