I went in to lease a vehicle. I had already done the research on the exact vehicle I wanted. I found it on the Jeep website and was directed to Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I used the Price options tab and checked how much deposit was needed as well as the estimated monthly cost. When I got to the dealer I found the vehicle before going inside and alerted the salesman of the vehicle. He retrieved the key and I gave it a test drive. He immediately told me the the 10% down ($4,600.00) that the website said was required was nowhere close enough to the deposit needed if I wanted the payments shown on the website. Mind you credit scores weren't a factor yet and would not have been an issue anyway. After I spoke to him further, He said he'll be back. When he came back it was to tell me the car is already sold and I left before he could attempt to try and put me in a more expensive model. I then left and went to another Jeep Dealership where I found a similar model with the same specs that I was looking for. At the next dealership the process was smooth and the deposit was not even a fraction of Dutchess Jeep. I feel offended with the level of robbery that they were about to commit. I'm glad I left because It was meant for me to walk out and go to another dealership. Honestly I think it should be a crime that a dealership as big as Dutchess Jeep can just rip people off on such a level and continue to operate their business when hard working people are literally just looking to purchase a vehicle. The second dealership gave me several lease options to go over and explained every cent that I was spending and would be spending which again was nowhere near the heinous prices that Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge were requiring. New York should have laws in place to make sure businesses such as these can't rob the very communities that they are allowed to operate in.

place is a joke! went here years ago and test drove a BRAND NEW WRANGLER. on the test drive the engine light came on and the hood latch was off. three years later i went to price up a ram 1500 and they wouldnt come down on price at all. took my business elsewhere (healey ram ) and needless to say i got a great deal for about 30 dollars a month less on a lease!

Met with my good friend Andrew today where I am looking for my first car. One of many reasons I came to see him , plus he knew how big of a first purchase this is and knew I wanted to take my time . So he let me test drive a few different vehicles which was great. Had a great Experience today !

My wife and I walked into this dealership to buy a wrangler. Sat down with a salesman and was looked at like I wasnt the ideal customer. I explained to the salesman in detail what I was looking for but the guy seemed baffled as to how I would be able to afford this purchase. After a week of this guy giving me the run around and ignoring my calls I took my business to Hudson Valley Jeep where they helped me get what I was looking for with no problem. I dont recommend you do business with this dealership if you are looking to buy a car in a place that doesnt discriminate.
