BE VERY VERY CAREFUL I registered with the company to view auctions and see what prices minibuses went for. I paid the 500 deposit knowing that I would not bid (I know stupid of me, and really wished I hadn't) as I can not afford a vehicle at this time and therefore would not lose my money. However when viewing the bids I noticed that it said that I was the highest bidder when the auction opened, and even though I only click on a picture and not the bid tab, somehow I won the bid??????? I called them immediately to ask them to cancel it but the sales director refused and said that I would have to pay or lose my 500. The next morning I called and asked him if he would not take the 500 deposit and he said he would get back to me. I had to call 7 times throughout the day only for him to offer to move the deposit to another auction on the 10th April. I explained that I could not afford to buy a vehicle of which his response what to say that I would lose my deposit. This is from a company with a turnover of over 4m and net profit of over 500,000. To give me back my money will not affect them, but will have big issues for me and I even offered to pay admin charges. The actual owner appears to be a genuine decent guy, I hope he is proud of his son for squeezing the money out of people. I did not bid regardless of what the sales director says but somehow they said I bid twice?????? So now 500 out of pocket, money I can not afford to lose. Please comment if anyone else has had issues as I will have to take this further if they do not give back the 500 which I doesn't look like they will

Very clean and organised auction. Very helpful and welcoming staff. All vehicles on auction are extremely clean and presentable. Auctioneers charges on winning bids are excessive. I visited on a Saturday and found an unusually small amount of public in attendance. Seems to be lots of people who were bidding online???.

Seems to be something underhand going on. you have to pay 500 deposit to even view the auction. The van I wanted appeared to have forcing bid applied and though was "sold" above my top price was back available in the next 2 auctions at least. I watched a number of other vans where they "sold" only a couple of hundred quid less than the buy it now price only to be back in the next auction. So if you like the buy it now price plus all fees go for it, but don't expect a bargain. *edit* I've been contacted by the auction house asking me to edit my review. My opinions above stand. In addition I did receive by 500 deposit refund within a few days as promised. I did not receive any response when I messaged the morning after the auction asking how the van I lost out on could be back on sale before 9am the next day; I did get a phone call 2 auctions (approx 1 week) later letting me know somebody had reneged on the sale and the buy it now price had been lowered if I was interested - still above my max auction bid and I was not.
