Customer service is terrible, the guys behind the counter present a stand-offish demeanor, like you are wasting their time for trying to spend money at their business. It is like a bunch of high school boys hanging out in there instead of a work place. This place charges way to much for installs and their mark up is ridiculous. If you are unlucky enough to have this place install anything on your vehicle, make sure to remove everything from your vehicle because these guys take anything (whether it's stealing or lack of care to put things back in the vehicle that they removed during install), also prepare for a mess of broken plastic and your head liner to look like a child stretched and re-glued it. Overall a very unprofessional place. Stay away, far away.

Only our certified install technicians are allowed to work on customer's vehicles. By store policy the sales people can not remove or install a stereo in the parking lot. Quite often we will let people borrow aftermarket removal keys to unlock the deck themselves. If a stereo is iso mounted or back strapped in the keys will not release the deck by itself. By your description the salesperson must have thought this to be the case.

I went in to see if they could pop out my aftermarket Kenwood deck so I could swap it with my newer Kenwood deck because I didn't have the keys to get the deck out. They told me that deck didn't require keys and that I would have to take the whole harness kit out to remove it. I decided to get a second opinion because I knew those guys were wrong and I took my car to Eclipse Car Audio and they were able to pop out my old deck (with the keys I didnt have) and put in my new deck right there on the spot for free. Took him a total of two minutes. I don't know the prices at Audio Source for products, but I definitely do not recommend them for installs since they weren't able to help me with something so simple.

I have always received excellent customer service from Audio Source, and they seem straight forward and fair. I recommend them if you need their sevice.

These guys are awsome and they no what they are truely talking about and there installations are clean and looks like it should be there and never has come apart custmer service is awsome doesnt matter who u talk to there they have a great crew working there and wouldnt go any place else for audio for your car or truck

In an attempt to shop local, I called Audio Source in search of a stereo wiring harness and car kit for 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I ask the person who answered my calls if they had it in stock, he put me on a brief hold and the said, yes we do. When I asked how much they ran, he explained that the wiring harness for this vehicle is special and runs $250. I asked, for the plug that connects an Alpine aftermarket stereo to the OEM plug behind the OEM stereo, that connector is $250?! He then gave me some bogus explanation that it had technology that was connected to the lights and doors. I explained that I found them online for $15-$30 and he said, those wont work. I hung up and ordered one online... guess what, it worked...
