This use to be a great zoo. The habitats are in disrepair. The elephants are gone. There appeared to be one lonely meerkat. Gardens are nice but needed work. Ticket staff was rude. We drive three hours to visit. We wont be going back.

This was just an okay zoo. We love going to zoos and were looking forward to this one. However, this was very underwhelming. We were bored and none of the exhibits were really exciting. Not many animals to see BUT there are some cool activities to do with kids and they do have a splash area. You do have to pay extra for most of the activities (even the petting zoo, which has been free at other zoos Ive been too). Its also in the smaller side. There are plenty of shaded areas, which was nice, and the landscaping overall was great. The animal portion was very disappointing, though.

We went to the zoo as part of my sons 5th grade field trip and we had a blast!! The ticket prices are fairly reasonable for the experience. Yes the food and the gift shop are very expensive but thats to be expected for any attraction like this. Its well worth it you will not be disappointed!!

Animals are lovely, kids enjoyed it. Prices are ridiculously high on everything. They even poke the elderly and handicapped folks for crazy expensive wheelchair and scooter rentals. 1/3 is closed for renovation, price is the same.
