Went there around 1pm today looking to trade in my current Infity. Parked in front walked over the lot . Went back to my car. Sat there while I got directions to Naperville Infinity. No one came out.

We drove 7 hours to go look at a car that we had intentions on purchasing and had pre approval for on Friday, 12-5-20. For one, the car was inaccurately described on their website for some features. Not a big deal, happens. We were asked to get as much information from our lender as possible in regards to interest rate, term of loan, etc. Once all information was obtained we could move on with the process of purchase, right? No. Instead they insisted that we fill out a credit application so they not only had it on file but to run my credit to ensure that we could even leave the lot with a vehicle. Although we were from out of state, this was a piece of information that VERY WELL could've been relayed to me ahead of time to reduce the amount of time we used to drive out there. Again, 7 hour ONE WAY trip. Vehicles in the Chicago area are very well priced and we have heard great things about the dealerships from a family member that recently purchased another vehicle in that area. We were APPROVED for a car by our bank. We had no intentions on switching because our bank has done well for us. We were happy with our interest rates, etc. However, not being able to leave their lot with a vehicle was disheartening. We have wrote out a personal check in the past to purchase a vehicle(out of state, mind you) with the funds available in our account. All we had to do was contact them to show good faith; that was never asked of us. The finance manager mocked me when I told him I felt there was no need to run my credit again if I currently had the preapproval, stating in a whiney voice "Oh, I wish I could help you" I was upset at how their lack of professionalism was conducted. Not to mention, their lack of communication in regards to those who were traveling a ways to purchase a vehicle from their lot. We were there from 930a. until 2pm and left without a car. Frustrated, we went to Des Moines dealership the next day. Purchased a car without any issue to run credit, came in with a preapproval, received what we were looking for on our trade-in and left within 3 1/2 hours from start to finish. Although I was really hoping for an Infiniti, I bought a Nissan Maxima and couldn't be happier. I've had this particular vehicle in the past and loved it. I'm happy it didn't work out with them, just disappointed in the time we took to even deal with people that find it amusing to mock their customers. I will never refer anyone to this dealership.

Definitely frustrated with this dealership. I definitely prefer interacting with guys and gals at Berman Chicago. Ill start by saying that I bought the car I was leasing before lease ended - l I love my car. But when I purchased after the fact - I realized that I needed an oil change and while leasing I was part of a prepaid maintenance program. Called Clarendon Hills in November or December 2019 to ask what happened with my maintenance program and they told me it was terminated when I bought the car so I went elsewhere for maintenance. Problem #1 was here. It left a bad taste in my mouth that my maintenance plan went to waste cause I was supposed to have it till 36,000 miles or November 2020 and I felt taken advantage of for the first time. Problem #2 is today when I got a call from Berman asking why I havent scheduled a maintenance appointment as my plan is active till 36,000 or November 2020 and he dug deep to make sure he was giving me the correct information about my maintenance cause I explained why I believed it was terminated. All I have to say is thanks for nothing Udo and Gary. Typical car salesmen taking advantage of young women. Unfortunately you need to be a man to be treated decently. Go to Berman though! Respectful lot there!
