We have bought a number of items from Corvette Kingdom over the years, and recently had to phone about a problem with the glass falling out of the wing mirror purchase almost 6 years ago. The lady who answered the phone was very short before I had even finished saying what I needed help with, and put me through to a man (her husband maybe?) who said it was 6 years old and what did I expect ? I was only phoning to ask if they stocked the replacement glass but they immediately went on the attack and I was shocked at his extremely rude attitude, without giving me a chance to explain I wasn't expecting not to pay for a new mirror. He actually said it was a known problem if it had been kept in a hot place (which it hasn't - Lancashire will never break any records for heatwaves!) but knowing the ones he has supplied are effectively faulty I assumed he would have rectified this by finding a local supplier of the correct shaped mirror to sell to his customers, thereby offering fantastic customer service and making a bob or two from selling the a new glass ! I tried a number of times to point out that I just wanted some advice in fixing it as I thought they may have the replacement glass, but was talked over each time. In fact this situation could have been a great opportunity for them to get a 5 star review - which I would have much preferred to be giving. Although it was 6 years since we purchased it, the car does very little mileage - so I can only assume that it would have fallen out sooner if it had been subject to usual road bumps and weather. Instead its been stored under a cover in a dry garage, so hasnt experienced the usual wear and tear it should have done, so even though I didnt phone with the expectation of a replacement, I could have argued this point, and maybe other buyers have done which would explain his aggressiveness. If I ran my business with the attitude these people have I wouldn't still be around ! Despite remaining very polite every time I spoke he talked over me then finally said ok just send me the thing back and Ill refund you. This would have been an excellent customer service gesture if he had offered this initially and it hadn't have been preceded by the aggressive dialogue beforehand. I will try and get a fix locally without taking him up on his extremely reluctant offer, as that would leave me without a wing mirror and a hole in the bodywork and being safe is more important than winning an argument. Very disappointed - there are a lot of companies out there - offering a good service is only way to keep customers, and this was a classic case of someone who really doesnt give a stuff.
I ordered a set of C3 diff mounts , gasket , oil seal and fluids for my C3 . It took less than 24 hours for them to be sitting on my shop counter. Absolutely brilliant service, happy customer!
Great people to deal with, Scott spent time on the phone advising me about the parts i would need to complete a u joint repair on a driveshaft. I ordered the parts yesterday and received this afternoon on the Isle of Wight. Excellent service
Was my first visit to Corvette Kingdom having ordered online previously. Scott was very welcoming and you can tell he has a real passion for Corvettes. He had every part we needed straight off the shelf.
