Took a deposit on a new defender 5 months ago. emailed one month before delivery date to tell us our order was cancelled. no further help offered. They didn't seem to know anything about options offered or differences in production years. Manager would not return calls. Recommend travelling to more reputable dealer in philly or pitt area.
After taking my vehicle, which was purchased new from this dealership, for its first service, I received it back with two chips on the paint which had been touched up very poorly with touch up paint in the exact color of my car. Because it had been touched up, we didn't immediately notice the damage. But when we did, the fact that it had been covered up with touch up paint and had never been to any other garage or shop ever, made it apparent to us that the damage had happened during the service the dealership conducted. It had then been covered up with paint. I reached out to the service manager, Chris, with my concerns and he did not believe me, and nor did he apologize or appear concerned. He also didn't ask to see pictures of the damage, where he could have seen touch up paint was applied. So now, after having taken my vehicle in for its first service, I have to have part of it repainted as a result of this dealership's negligence. Don't expect quality customer service here. Expect to be treated like a liar after they damaged your vehicle.
