We wrapped a 2005 Excursion in matte black for Tom in January 2018. The installation was performed with our installers and one of 3M's own installers. Tom complained after the installation that the cars original red paint color was visible under the body moldings and inside of where the glass sits. The install was done to industry standards so that it could carry a 6-year warranty. Regarding the moldings a wrap cannot bridge over the moldings without being trimmed at a body seam (wraps will ultimately fail at a seam if applied without being trimmed). Regarding the glass - removing glass from a vehicle is very rarely done and was not a part of the agreed upon scope. Tom is unique in his experience and despite our efforts to try and work with him he made it very clear that no resolution would satisfy. We have installed thousands of wraps and worked hard to develop a stellar reputation in the industry. If you are considering having a wrap done on your vehicle, we recommend visiting the facility you are considering to meet the people, talk through the process, see color swatches, and see a wrap being installed. It is a great opportunity to talk about what a wrap is and what a wrap is not; for example, a wrap is not a paint job. Wraps are really cool and can do a lot of things, but in some cases, they may not be a perfect fit for you.

Wrapped our excursion. Very shotty. Tons of gaps in the wrap near any body molding. He said we are not a body shop and do not remove anything. Well, everyone else does. He says he warned me about this before starting. There was no warning that it would look like a clown car. I have many friends with wrapped vehicles. They are shocked how poorly this turned out. He recommended I use plasti dip to cover the areas that were not wrapped well. Plasti dip? I just paid thousands to not use plasti dip. No solution offered. Should have gone to tint pros as people Recommended. Fell for the cheaper bid. Ended up costing twice as much.
We have been doing business with this company for years. In the last 2 years they have gone from being super accommodating and quick turn around to condescending, rude and jacked up prices by more than double. When we had product become defective immediately and were told it was our problem and nothing would be done about it. Now the increase of 200% on product after years of business to be treated this way was baffling and unnecessary. I would not recommend doing business with this company if you want quality customer service and good product.
