Incredibly rude staff! And they're slow, ridiculously slow, the wait time made no sense - an hour to find a drivers side mirror I had already called about which they assured me was all set to go? I drove 45 minutes to get there, wasted an hour of my life waiting for the incompetent workers they have there and walked away with nothing other than a bad taste in my mouth. With all the auto junk yards around here, skip this place for sure.

Jeff, we only offer in store credit on parts that were ordered incorrectly. The only time we offer cash refunds is if the part is defective. Possibly be more thorough next time when diagnosing your issue.

I have worked in the used parts industry for over 20 years, i have never had a place refuse to give a cash refund when they sold me the wrong part, but the bellheads at speedys did just that. I will never spend a dime there again, in fact I won't even sornd the credit I got, I'd rather throw the $100 away than to go to jail for a non avoidable confrontation!

Cylinder heads are guaranteed to not to cracked at time of purchase - that is it - only casting is guaranteed, not valves or cams. And, that was what you were told at time of purchase. As "a reputable shop" you should know that used cylinder heads have to be sent to a machine shop to be pressure tested, resurfaced, and valves checked, cams polished. If you wanted a cylinder head to just bolt on you should have bought a new one. But, as a "reputable shop" I'm sure you know that. Maybe next time do some due diligence and ask another more "reputable shop" how to go about installing a cylinder head.

Very dissapointed. We are a reputable shop. We always order things from out of state and never run into problems like this. Customer service was great before the part was purchased however when we recieved the part, they never told us how badly the condition was, like most places will do. And now we have to pay for the shipping and restocking fee to send it back?? VERY unprofessional and makes it seem like currency is the only thing they're willing to help for. There's more to life then money!!! I asked multiple times if the Cylinder head were in decent shape and all I got was a head thats been sitting outside in the sun for years. ASK FOR PICTURES!! Way to go guys! to reply to your reply: As a shop thats been in business for 30 years you should know it's not what we want at the end of the day its what the customer wants. So if our customers want to go the used heads route that's the route we will go, & since you have been in business for 30 years when a customer asks for pictures it should be given. Especially when the valve cover has been off for a year !!!
