Our owner actually does have a sense of humor, but because his is a veteran, a respected community leader known for his charitable support of local organizations, and a business owner for nearly 30 years we don't consider the clown reference accurate or deserved. Our dealership records show no recent contacts with Mr. Wall. However if there is a complaint please give contact us and we will certainly address it.
This customer insisted on purchasing a 17 year old Jeep "as-is", meaning there was no warranty. The customer declined to purchase a service contract--he didn't think he would need one since the vehicle was in such good shape and had low miles. The vehicle had passed a North Carolina State safety inspection. The dealership did actually lose money on the sale to try to assist the customer. After the sale he contacted our Sales Manager and said there was a problem with the brakes. We were skeptical, but since he does not live close to the dealership we said we would pay a shop near him to repair the brakes as a goodwill gesture. Then days later he called back and said there was a problem with the rear differential (a very expensive problem that was not there when we sold the vehicle), and asked if we would pay for that repair. Again we were doubtful about the need for that, but said that we would pay a part of the repair or he could have it towed to us and we would properly diagnose the problem, since the repair facility he wanted to use is not an authorized Jeep dealer. The owner personally looks into all customer problems and spoke with the customer several times, and even had our parts department try to assist. The owner said we would consider reversing the transaction. It was then discovered that the customer had not met all his obligations in buying the Jeep (privacy concerns do not allow details to be disclosed here). When we told him of the expense we had to make his trade road worthy he admitted that he knew of problems with the trade that he had not told us about. At that point his credibility had suffered and we felt he was trying to take advantage of our willingness to help, so we had to withdraw our offer to assist in the expense. It is unfortunate that the customer attempts to spin the facts and even calls the owner names, when this owner of several dealerships took the time to personally try to assist. As the old saying goes, sometimes "no good deed goes unpunished."

So I just finished reading through the almost comical response to my review from the dealership. I love how they not only made up out right lies but also hide behind the guise of privacy concerns. I think the most upsetting part of the response is the the part about my trade. On my trade tires were nearing the end of life I made them aware of this fact. That was the only issue. As your can see in my original review I even offered to pay full price for the "upgrades" they made to my trade to get it back. This upgrade list included tires, brakes, and wipers. The brakes and wipers had plenty of life left and were not needed. Ownership also declined this offer as well. I at NO point said or admitted any sort claim about knowing about problems with my trade. This is an outright lie. My vehicle was also fully NC safety inspected and road worthy far beyond the vehicle they sold. I would like to make special note that my vehicle made it from my house to the dealership without issue. Theirs did not make it an hour down the road so you tell me who's was in better shape. I see also that as always they claimed to have lost money on the deal but I have yet to see any paper work to prove such claims. Karma is real and bad deeds are punished you will reap what you sow. I hope this review saves others from such an experience. I would like to start by saying I am not the first to experience this level of trouble with this dealership. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They knowingly sale vehicles that not only have issues but are a hazard to drive on the road. My life was endangered and the dealership and more specifically the owner Dan Lackey was not concerned. While I understand the car is used certain parts should have been checked especially when I was told that it had been done. Everyone there is virtually impossible to get a hold of and will take days to respond especially when they know they are in the wrong. I had several unpleasant conversations with the managers and owner. The vehicle I purchased lost the entire rear end along with other parts leaving me stranded with $2400 worth of repairs. I was first given two options. Option one they would split the $400 towing cost to have it brought back at which time the owner said he would "help" me with an undisclosed amount of the repair. Option two they would tow the vehicle back at their expense and swap back with me the vehicle I traded cancelling the deal all together. Knowing that the vehicle I traded was in much better shape and not wanting to throw money out of pocket of course option two was the way to go. The owner and I agreed to that option. Shortly after we were supposed to go through all the details of making that happen but instead the owner told me eh we're not going to do that anymore. He said they had already put brakes and tires on the trade and couldn't bring it back to the way it was. He then offered to give the original $200 they told me for some parts along with $500 for the rear end. Of course that was not close to even half of the repair I was sitting on but still any money was better than nothing. So the owner and I once again agreed to those terms. It was not long after that we again talked and again he said eh I'm not going to do the $500 either. He said they put money into mine and as any dealership would say "we are loosing money on the deal already". Show me the paperwork to prove that! At one point I even offered to pay for the tires, brakes, etc they did to my trade because it was of course in way better shape. The owner told me flat out no on that. The owner of this dealership is a liar, has no morality, and is completely lacking any form of integrity. The other employees at the dealership are not much better. As I stated early own I am not the first and you have been warned. I look forward to and will enjoy seeing what types of lies the dealership post in response to my review. PLEASE contact me to discuss this review and claim what you will I will talk to you till the cows come home!!!
Tyrell us GREAT!!!!! He never tried yo pressure us to buy anything and answered every question we asked. He took the time to make sure we were satisfied and happy. He made our experience very easy and pleasurable. Don't get me wrong, Bill and Gerald were great too, going out of their way to make us happy. My husband was looking specifically for a 3/4 ton Ram. They had just received 2 the evening before and hadn't even been thru check in and still in transport mode. BUT, with that being said, they still let us look at them anyway. I know other dealerships wouldn't have but they did without hesitation. We actually bought the Ram within the hour and they sent it thru service for check in and made sure everything was good. Our experience was so good that we went back and bought a 392 Scat Pack Charger less than 3 weeks later. I will and HAVE recommended the dealership and Tryell to our friends and family. We are 2 VERY HAPPY customers. Thanks guys.......
Thank you for the feedback we are glad that you agree that you got a good vehicle at a good price! Perhaps a better way to let us help you with your dissatisfaction would be to call us directly rather than a Google review. Please contact us at 336-636-7310 to discuss your options.

There was a misunderstanding with the dealership about the warranty coverage and the final cost of the vehicle. The dealership contacted me as soon as they were aware and worked to resolve the problem.
Dont waste your time on this dealership for repairs, I took my Chrysler 300 for a air bag issue recalled, after they were finished with the repairs or lack of my vehicle wont start they blame it on a weak battery, after they jump start my vehicle some lights came on in the dashboard including the airbag lights I asked to talk to a manager about this issue and MITCHELL WRIGHT from service, toll me that there was nothing he could do his lame excuse was that the lights were on Prior to the repair which is a lie, I have contacted Chrysler corporation about this issue, so please dont waste your time and money at Asheboro Chrysler for service repairs.
