I want to take a moment to respond, simply because I feel that your statement isn't 100% accurate. When you came in for the service that you state was a complete service, you had a rear differential service done, a synthetic oil change, you opted not to change spark plugs at that time, replaced a key fob battery and checked your fluid levels and tire pressure. We never at ANY time pulled your wheels to check over the front brakes, nor is that stated anywhere on the repair order that I could find. The rear brakes WERE checked and found to be at 6. The date in question where your brakes had failed, you had your vehicle towed in, the front brakes were listed at 3 on the outside and 0 on the inside. At this visit, we had replaced the front brakes, rotors, etc. You were upset and wanted to speak with me, the General Manager, about your concerns. I helped you with the bill THAT day, lowering it approximately 15%, since you were a customer of ours and had been for several years, bringing the bill down to about $360 I felt it was more than generous on our part, however, this is where things started to get a little off base. You then just a few days later, sent me an email, stating you wanted me to pay you for lost wages for not being at work for you AND your significant other, a rental bill for 5 days (the car was done the same day), you wanted me to pay gas for the rental car, etc. All in all, you wanted me to reimburse you $618.29; more than what either service bill was. I, in return, explained exactly why I would not pay that to you and was told you would take your story to social media. I have no problem with that. I know that we are a reputable company and being extorted to social media because I will not pay you money is not the way that we do business. I am sorry that you feel as if you were treated unfairly, but quite honestly, I don't know what more we could have done to help you. I hope, that in the future, you choose to continue bringing your vehicle in for service.

If I could give zero star i would. I had a very dangerous experience with the service department. I took my Mazda CX5 in for a complete service which included checking the brakes. Two weeks later, with my two young children in the car, my brakes failed. Turns out the brake was never checked and the brake pads was worn down. This could have all been avoided had the service I paid for been done. I incurred a lot of stress and out of pocket expenses correcting this mistake and Mazda has refused to compensate me fully. The most frustrating part of all this was the cover up with the brakes. First I was told that brake check was not part of my service, when I produced paper works to show I paid for it, I was told it was checked. Then I later find out it was never checked but they claim it was partially checked. How is that even possible. Taking responsible for your actions goes a long way in customer service. A very disappointed customer. Hope you do better in the future. 07/24/2019 5pm: This is response to the reply below: I am really shocked at this reply. Never once have I said anything about extorting money by writing reviews on social media. When I talked to you about the brakes even you were shocked about what happen. You told me they should have checked the brakes. I paid $174 for service. Yes other things were done but all the brakes should have been checked. I never once asked for car rental payments for serval days. This happened in a day, I was charged $98 for the car rental and that was what I asked for. I also told you I would right a review as I thought it was important. You had no issue with this. I never said a review would be written if you did not pay for what I requested. Finally you asked me what my out of pocket expenses were and I listed them, I also have evidence to back up my amounts. I am surprised and disappointed at your attack in your reply. I explained what happened and said I was disappointed. You should be too as the ball was dropped somewhere in making my vehicle safe to drive when I paid for this service.
