I tried to return a car that was leased. The dealership told us to bring it in but neglected to tell us that we needed to make an appointment first. So I returned home to make an appointment. When I came back to meet the individual with whom I made the appointment, I was told that he had left and apparently forgot about the appointment. Each time I inconvenienced somebody else to drive me home. Moreover, the sales person was rude and arrogant. I had to make another appointment. The individual showed up this time, albeit late. He was rude, arrogant and unapologetic as well. I had to take an Uber car home this time. Stay away from this dealership at any cost. Try a VW, Toyota or Honda. They are better cars and the customer service is much better, unless you like dealing with rude and deceitful sales people.

Be wary of any seemingly low prices from this dealership. I made a 45 minute trip up to this dealership because I was excited to see they had a 2019 CX-5 grand touring listed at a reasonable price and set up an appointment to test drive it. After talking with Diego about the car we went inside to discuss the price. I had gone in wanted to know what the out the door price was going to be, but he made it surprisingly difficult to get all of the information on what I would be charged for in one sitting. When I told him I was really hoping for a price $1500 that what was listed, he said they could only cut off $500 from the online price. He then asked what would need to happen for a deal to be made that day- I hadnt gone in ready to make a purchase, but said I definitely couldnt even consider it with their offer being that far off from my ask. Eventually the manager came over and said that they could come down $1600! Which seemed great, but also odd considering it was over what I had even asked, and $1100 more than Diego originally said they could do. But - looking at all the fees they decided to write out after I had given them the $1500 I was asking them to come down, they more than made up for that difference and in hindsight it made sense how they could come down $1600. The fees included a $1995 reconditioning fee - this for a car that was still scratched up, had white paint swipes on the black exterior, and internally smelled very strongly of something like baby wipes which was off-putting. A Documentation and certification fee of $499, a $699 etching fee, and then $350 for the Registration and plates. Everywhere else I went to either had no reconditioning fee as it was accounted for in the listed price of the car, or it was $699 or less and for a car that was better cleaned up. Other locations had no etch fees, it was optional, or less than $200. I was asked multiple times about making a deal that night and felt rather pressured to, but was glad I had time to leave, gather my thoughts and research and compare the fees so I could realize I was not getting a good deal at all. The people we interacted with there were friendly enough, but in terms of actual business dealings I left feeling pretty dissatisfied. If you want an experience at a Mazda dealership where you dont feel like the employees are playing mind games and the prices and fees are much more up front, go to Schwartz Mazda in Monmouth County - my experience there was more pleasant.

I went back regarding my lease and was impressed with the new staff and the manner and respect in which I was treated. Charlie walked me through the renewing of my lease, and I found him to be honest and thorough and answered my many questions, even now months after the deal was made lol.

Had a great experience at Mazda of Lodi! The staff was great, Mike (my sales rep) was honest, to the point and not pushy at all. He worked hard to get my an amazing deal on a 2015 Mazda 3. They definitely earned my business and I know I left knowing I made the right choice. I highly recommend going there! It was painless and I left with my new car that day. Great deal on my trade in, more than double what I was quoted from other dealerships and I couldn't be happier.

No much of a selection , I was looking for the hatchback, but according to the sales person they didn't order but two of them .. one already sold and one left .. not much of an option... This in an update .. since 10 months ago I finally decided to come back and buy the Mazda 3 Hatchback, nice car happy with it ... unfortunately I have not even pay my first month , it does have problems with the tires , it constantly shows that something is wrong, i bring it to Mazda Lodi, where i bought it, they tell me I need to change two of them with plus, plus .. nothing is cover , when ask for at least take care of half the problem the Manager for that department (Jeff) doesn't even try to talk to the costumer, a bill of almost 500 dollars has to be all pay at front for me with them doing not taking any responsibility, wich is not fair , since is not even a month i have driven the car , wich i barely do ... I dont commute to work in my car... Mazda of Lodi is still a disaster on costumer satisfaction/service ... the only good thing about it is the nice two girls at the counter, both very professional , and kind. Also Mr Derek is Professional... but the so call Management is a complete thumbs Down.
