I've heard good things about this shop but after using them and dealing with them several times I would have to disagree. I dropped off an engine part and asked for a quote before any repairs were made. After three months and four phone calls asking for a price they tell me the part is done. Never did get the quote, just the run around. So I just paid the high bill and took it home. I put the head on and it leaked compression around the valves worse than it did before I dropped it off. I called back and was told "huh.......we lapped the valves in." I ended up spending an hour (2 hours total) per valve hand lapping them in to get them to seal. I've called for other parts and services and they never seem to return phone calls. Basically, if you can go elsewhere I would suggest it. It's a shame because they have a nice shop but the way it's run is the downfall of it.
Anyone who specializes in restoring older engines is a winner.
