Horrible customer service. Did not greet us and was very rude when speaking to us. Took forever to even acknowledge that we were in the room! Horrible experience and I will not be coming again!
Hi, Mr. Williams, Unfortunately due to COVID, a lot has changed with how we operate. We have given permission to our staff to turn our phones off during operating hours to be able to give full attention to the customers that are in front of us, most who have waited a long time to be seen. I definitely understand your frustration though. It was a big decision for us to make that change as we pride ourself on customer service. Our voicemail indicates that if a message is left that we will return all calls at the end of every day OR you can email and we can typically reply to you faster. Our team is very good about returning calls at the end of the day. I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We are all learning new ways to operate under new guidelines. You cant tell me the people working there cant answer a phone! And I called MANY more times than once! All I have is a question about unfinished business I have with them so I can go in prepared and finish my business! And no, I cant just go in and ask because I work. I guess its easy to let it ring and let the recording do the work!
I got my license plate and registration for my van. Then got FULL coverage insurance from Progressive through Toups Insurancefor $60 a month. I was paying $90 a month for just state minimum coverage at Allstate (and thats with discounts) I asked, "you sure you checked full coverage"? Toups services include: renewing drivers license, get a plate or turn in license plate, vehicle registration, title (copies of, buying or selling vehicle) and also buying insurance for your vehicle (motorcycles too). Awesome customer service and they can answer many of your questions for those of us who don't lime dealing with the DMV! 2 things to keep in mind before heading over there, there are convenience fees charged for transactions over the amount you would pay at the DMV and when its busy be prepared to wait a bit. They also do notary work on every thing not just vehicles.

Unfortunately this is out of our control. We understand your frustration however this is not our policy. This is the policy of Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV). When a record doesnt indicate that a title was sent back to Baton Rouge, either for an issue with an address or is undeliverable for whatever reason, then it is assumed delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. Again, this is out of our control. Had you gone to the Office of Motor Vehicles, the process would have been the same. After the transaction is processed, and 60 days have lapsed, neither agency, our office or OMV, is allowed to generate a free title. Additional fees are always charged.

I've waited for 3 months for my title for my car and I called today to see where it was and now I have to pay another $114 to get a new one I was informed it got to my mail box then shouldnt I have received it next time Ill just sit at the DMV not coming here again
