Took our car here because of a recall on the airbags, it was supposed to take no longer this 1 day. It ended up being there for almost 1 month. They messed up the gas hose, needed to replace the gas pump, and still the car hasn't been the same since then!!! They put the blame on each other, I had to get in contact with the general manager and ended up with a rental car. I wasted my time here. Unfortunately there is no other Mazda service center around. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
Sorry we did not meet your expectations. Technically shuttle service is intended for actual service customers who drop off a vehicle. We certainly should have made an exception. Our apologies.

Refused to provide shuttle service for me to get home when both my main and spare keys' batteries failed, without warning. I had to pay for transportation to get there; the key compartment was too hard to open to replace the button batteries myself and my car wouldn't start. The gentleman in the parts department was excellent, even showed me how to replace the button battery. Thanks. Went to the service desk to request a shuttle home. NOPE. Refused. Really? It was just a three mile drive to my home from San Rafael to Greenbrae. I paid to get there. I just wanted a ride home. No can do. Fend for yourself in a bad area. That's what sets this company on the low end. Go across the highway, get a better car for a few extra bucks. And most definitely better service, it has to be better than this. Mazda Marin service? Nah, never again.
Just dealt with Bill there on a deal for a car for my son. It was his first time to deal with a dealership so I was helping work the deal. Bill made it easy and even fun. We got a great deal on a nice vehicle.
Thank you ... so glad to see we took good care of you!

I don't give 5 star reviews easily. Geoffrey and Mike earned it today! I live in Phoenix and found the BMW I was looking for. Gave deposit Tuesday jumped on a plane Wednesday afternoon and drove it home that night. Ran into an equipment issue and Mike and I came to a speedy agreement. Very good and honest people! Seems harder to find. This store must have hired them all!
Sorry this customer is unhappy, we did have a systems error in posting the "Retail" price of a few vehicles, which has been rectified ... Our actual "Asking" price was very fair and market correct. HIs reference to Better Business Bureau is simply incorrect. We are listed there under "San Rafael Mitsubishi" our former name, prior to our change to Marin MAZDA and rated "A". Our Retail price figures are set based on KBB values, other trusted resources and local market conditions. Typically these are accurate and market correct. On review of your issue we discovered there was a data entry error in our Retail price calculations on a few vehicles, including the one you were interested in. As a result several vehicles had a listed Retail value that was not correct. We have corrected the vehicle listings involved. With respect to the vehicle claimed to be overpriced, we sold it soon after being offered and had no less than 5 other inquires as it was an exceptional example with low miles for the year. We offered this customer the opportunity to discuss his concerns with our CEO and explain how the Retail calculation error was a one-time event, but he opted out. While used car price guides are useful, they are based on averages and often inaccurate. Every used car is unique and actual retail value is subject to the appeal of that particular car and a number of regional factors. We do our best to reflect the true market value of every vehicle we offer with competitive pricing. We also provide a thorough inspection and reconditioning on every pre-owned vehicle before we put it up for sale. Car Gurus, TrueCar and other 3rd party systems list the majority of our used vehicles as offering a Good or Fair price. After decades in the car business with literally thousands of happy customers, our pricing policies are market correct and very well received.

Was looking to buy a car off of them using TrueCar. The price like normal was over KBB by almost $1000, which isn't unusual. Then I went to their site where I found some crony tactics. They show their price at $5000 over KBB value, then give a $3227 discount to make you feel like you are getting a deal. They were not willing to go to a reasonable price. When I called them out on their tactics, they tried to use Carfax value which is almost always overpriced, especially compared to KBB, which is known to be the most accurate. They even show KBB reviews but won't show their pricing. Before I could reply, they blocked me. If you are going to try to buy from them be ready for them to try to take advantage of you. And in continued conversation, they tried to justify their price by claiming their credit unions and banks don't recognize NADA but in research, found nothing to support this. Contacted their credit union CUDL credit union to confirm. (got an email telling me they use KBB, Black Book and NADA) They are also unaccredited on the Better Business Bureau with a C+ rating. BBB states they have been in business for 50 years. Seems like this has been their regular practice.
