Ultimately these guys make stereotypical Used Car salesmen look honest! What started as an extremely positive experience turned into a 3 month long nightmare. Engine in our 2014 Kia Sportage seized, Sansone was initially very helpful in getting the case opened with Kia to get the repairs done, under warranty, this changed and not for the better. Starting off with the standard stuff. 1. Getting in touch with Service Advisors is an absolute pain. They never return calls unless they want money out of you. They don't call with regular updates, even when they know you're waiting on a potential loaner because you don't have your car. 2. While rebuilding the engine the Timing Chain tensioner was not checked which resulted in Sansone having to tow the car BACK in for additional repairs that should have been caught initially. 3. Once the warranty work was finished we were notified of multiple additional repairs that were needed which had to have been noticed in the engine tear down, but we were not notified about in any sort of timely manner. 4. One of the repair items was for the Air Conditioner not working. The A/C was working before the engine seized. After 4-5 different stories, the final story was that the Condensor was cracked, which should ultimately have meant that the freon could not have been properly evacuated from the A/C system. Again, no call during the engine tear down that we had "somehow" leaked freon all over NJ roads/airways. This only came up after the warranty work was finished. Car was returned, best case, with no Freon in the system. Overall, I will NEVER be doing any further business with Sansone. **UPDATE 5th August** My mechanic has gone over the A/C system in my car and could not find any evidence of a cracked condenser. It looks like this was just an attempt by Sansone to scam Kia and me out of money as Kia paid for the A/C system to be recharged with Freon after the engine rebuild and Sansone just didn't feel that they had made enough money on the job. Oh and please not the reply to this review where Sansone asked John to contact them about feedback. I'm not sure who John is, or how he is going to provide any feedback on this issue.
Great person who inspected the auto for return. Nissan tried to tell us we had to make a appointment to return auto!! I told him, I was told to meet the inspector there n after he checked the truck all I had to do was hand them the sheet n the keys!! I told the SALESMAN I WAS GOI G TO LEAVE IT IN YHIER LOT WITH NO PLATES AS I WAS NOT TOLD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH ANYONE. ON TOP OF THIS HE DOESCOME IN TILL 1 O'CLOCK!! IT WAS 9:15. BOTTOM LINE HE TOOK THE JEYS N WE DROVE OFF!!
Ending 2016 with a big BANG! I drove 1+ hours to order a new telluride and left unhappy. I dont know the salesmans name, but he was in the cubicle in the back right. I told him what I wanted, he said one will be available next month. He appraised my car at an extremely low price, $34,500. I have a 2021 KIA Sorento SX Prestige 20k miles. Not a single scratch or anything. I told him that its really low and KBB value was much higher. He told me they dont go off of KBB and refused to even negotiate it or anything. Yet, on their website it states The first step to trading in your car is the Value Your Trade tool on our website. This form will ask for information about your current make, model, mileage, and condition to determine the amount your car may be worth according to Kelley Blue Book. And then, after leaving I use their trade-in tool and again, the appraisal was much higher. On their fb they even mention how they really want your used car and are willing to pay top dollar.
