Since no alternative items were suitable (or in stock) for an immediate re-send, we refunded the full order value to you there and then, as per your request.

We're always saddened to receive poor feedback. As a family business with a good reputation for service we strive to always leave our customers happy, however we have a duty of care to the next 'owner' of returned products to ensure that we are sending the brand new unworn products they have paid for. The boots in question were returned with soil in the treads, most certainly were not sold in this condition, and we had no choice but to take the difficult and unpopular decision that this wouldn't be something the next 'owner' would be happy to accept. We take on board all feedback, good or bad, but in this instance and short of throwing away items returned in non saleable condition, we're not really sure how a change in policy could make things better :(

Seriously disappointed with the returns policy of CopShop. Any new boot will crease slightly when it is tried on yet this is a factor copshop deem unacceptable for a refund. The company have also highlighted a small yellow paint mark on the sole of the boots which I can only assume was from the manufacturing process but this too has flagged the boots unworthy of resale and blamed on me as the customer, I have never worked with yellow paint in my life! Therefore if buying from copshop, ensure you know the boots will 100% fit before trying them on and do not dare walk around in them to check their comfort as they will not be accepted back. Might also be worth fully inspecting the boots as they arrive out of the box for any blemishes. Really unfortunate situation as the delivery and initial customer service was very prompt and satisfactory.
