Hi James Sorry to hear that your experience with Xpress was nt to your liking. Our aim is always to provide the highest levels of customer service and vehicle repair possible and would hope that our independent Trustpilot rating of Excellent is testament to this. Statement 1 - Nothing about this company is quick or affordable Your initial contact with the business was responded to in under 17 minutes explain that after examination of your images we would need to see the vehicle to make an accurate damage assessment. This was due to evidence of rippling in the rear quarter panel across the swage line which would indicate the possibility of a flatline repair. Which although is not a difficult repair (in the eyes of a qualified repair technician it can be lengthier process than a more straightforward repair and paint) From initial contact to booking an inspection at your preferred centre was dealt with in under 3 hours. In which you thanked our call handler for such a speedy response. After the inspection was carried out by one of our most experienced multi-skilled technicians (25 years+ in the trade) who is an area manager for the business and also has a glowing 5 star rating on Trustpilot, it was recommended that the repair would indeed need flatlining. As previously mentioned our technicians would not rate this as difficult due to the level of their training it is a lengthy one. (Repair was estimated as 6-8 hours). This process involves spot welding a series of small metal keys along the length of the damage in order to pull the dent out and re-introduce the distorted vehicle swage-line. (As you may be aware any welding process needs to be done on bare metal so this would mean grinding back the paint on the damaged area) Reflecting the reason for the price coming in around the 600 price mark. Which I think you will find is a very competitive price for that level of repair. On top of this we also offer the option of payment assist which gives you the option to spread the cost of the repair interest free over a 3 month period. Statement 2 The fact that their sales office didnt bother to chase up the quotation Post-inspection a quotation for the repair was sent to you 2 days later. This normally would have been done within 24 hours but unfortunately we were experiencing difficulties with our software hence the slight delay. The quotation was then followed up next day, to which no response was given. Statement 3 I was also quoted for repainting, which I neither asked for nor needed After inspecting the vehicle it was our conclusion that a flatline repair we would have to carried out and therefore would have to be re-painted. We pride ourselves on the standards of our repairs and it is for this reason that we offer a lifetime guarantee on any work we carry out on your vehicle. Our intention is to always repair any job in the best and most suitable way possible. Of course if you feel that you would rather have a PDR company repair your vehicle then that is entirely up to you presuming, using your words, you could find a proper dent pulling firm company who would be willing to undertake the repair. Statement 4 they have no confidence in their pricing and are merely chance-takers As stated above our price is an accurate reflection of the repair needed on the vehicle. We are totally confident in our pricing structure and our Trustpilot score would suggest that the vast majority of our customers are too. With regard to the accusation of being chance-takers this too is something we strongly disagree with and I refer back to the fact we have had 1000s of satisfied customers who indicate that this is totally not the case.

Dont waste your time - Despite what their website may say, nothing about this firm is quick or affordable. After using their online quote service, I was told my pictures were inadequate and I needed to book into a centre. I did this, and expecting to have the repair completed that day (As advertised Same day repair) I was told by the mechanic that I would need to wait for head office to quote me, after he took several pictures similar to the ones I had taken. He also told me that they would probably have me booked in within a week or two. 24 hours later this quote comes through for over 600 pounds, for a small dent to be pulled, which the mechanic himself had told me Its not in a difficult area, and shouldnt be a problem. I was also quoted for repainting, which I neither asked for nor needed. The fact that their sales office didnt bother to chase up the quotation shows that they have no confidence in their pricing and are merely chance-takers. I would recommend using a proper dent pulling firm. In response to the reply left by the company: I agree, the initial contact from your sales team was indeed, quick. However, as my review states, the time taken between quotation and repair work is anything but, which is presumably a main selling point of your firm. Hence, as I have pointed out, I was disappointed by the fact that you advertise a same day repair. Your skilled technician, was unable to offer any advice on rough coatings of the job, despite, as you have mentioned, having 25+ years in the trade. Your second point, in that you followed my quote up the next day, is either a lie, or there is an error on your part. I would be happy to retract this statement if you would like to show me some evidence. I have received no emails, either to my inbox or junk mail box, and have received no phone call, nor was a voicemail received, so please explain this. On your next point, regarding my comment about not asking for painting, youre quotation merely states painting work or words to that effect. As aforementioned, if this quotation was chased, the need for this work could be explained by yourselves; the subject matter experts, however in lieu of this, myself; the customer, is left feeling as though I am being taken for a ride. With regards to the last statement, I cannot comment on the experience that other customers have had, only my own. If other customers have had a better experience dealing with yourselves than I have, that is absolutely fine, however I can see that I am not the only person who has had a bad experience with yourselves. Future customers will have to decide for themselves. Please feel free to contact me directly if you wish to discuss this any further, I wont be able to accept phone calls for the next few months as I am working abroad, but will be happy to respond to any emails, my address, I am sure you can obtain from my original quotation. I look forward to hearing from you. James
