The worst experience ever ! I went in to get a car and I did all the paper work and signed for it... they called me the next day saying I had to make a deposit if I wanted the car because they had another buyer inside the store . I sent over a picture of my card to the sales rep (THEY DID NOT TAKE IT OFD THE MARKET) and the next day they called me and told me I was not approved after I had signed all the paper work already.. its been about a week and I have not gotten my refund. They just processed it yesterday after a week.. they are the WORST

Save your time, money and sanity. Do not go to Camelback kia/hyundia. This dealership is Horrible, horrible, horrible the absolute worst experience I've ever had. They could care less about the customer. I was there for 5 hours and was never explained anything about the vehicle I was interested in. They were very non informative I had to look up information on the internet cause they didn't know facts about the car I was interested in. I had looked on the internet prior to coming up to the dealership and found that they had the exact vehicle I was interested in and spoke with the rob koperno on the phone and he told me he put his hands on the vehicle I was interested in and guaranteed me that it was there. Amazingly when I got there they didn't have that vehicle so I should have just turned around right then and left since I was clearly already being lied to but they then told me they guaranteed that they could find that exact vehicle I wanted and get it to there dealership. After waiting for what felt like forever they come back and said they couldn't find that exact vehicle and proceeded to lie some more about what a great deal they could make me on another vehicle. After a while they sent out the sales manager his name was Chris tafoya. Chris tafoya the sales manager was the worst person I had to deal with by far. He was so rude and condescending it made me sick. If he comes out to talk with you about your payment or the numbers, run in the other direction before the lies start rolling out. Then after hours of back and forth they said they worked out the numbers and were sending me inside to finish up everything with Darlene in finance. At that time I was just glad to be getting away from the sales manager Chris tafoya. Darlene was very uninformative and just kept throwing the papers at me to sign. Every time I asked a question she deflected it and said that my salesman rob koperno would answer all my questions when we were done. Another lie. I also noticed that there wasn't a lien holder on my contract and asked why that was and again she said my salesman would answer all those question as soon as we were done. After I finished with Darlene I went back out to my salesman rob koperno and asked him the questions I had and he surprisingly said Darlene should have answered those questions for you and he didn't have any of those answers and he told me I should have just asked darlene those questions. They just kept passing the blame to each other. This a horribly run and managed company please save yourself the horrible experience and steer very clear of this place. They are not to be trusted. Everything they tell you will be a lie, so please go somewhere else and save yourself the time, money and sanity.

Peyton answered my phone call from the parking lot of Camelback Kia and responded to all of my questions regarding what years and models as well as "trim packages" were available on site... When I informed him we were actually in his parking lot he did not leave us waiting... If there was something he did not readily know, he quickly provided the answer without just making something up... it's a tactic I've had many other car salesman try to use He was kind and considerate of my girlfriend's condition and I would recommend to anyone to see Peyton... Special thanks to Mark and Mark... BTW we purchased a Kia 2020 Soul GT...
Short story: Camelback Kias finance department is shady in their practices. Long story: I wanted a specific car with specific options, and I found it online at Camelback Kia. No other dealerships had this vehicle. I called to make sure this vehicle was still for sale. We drove 100 miles to look at it. We brought our trade in. They offered me the lowest possible amount for my trade in. I accepted this since it was so convenient to have all the paperwork done in the same place, versus selling the truck myself. Kia was offering some decent Summer deals, so we attempted to finance trough KIA finance. We were denied and were shown how our credit was just lower than KIA finances treashold. Thats ok, we usually go through our credit union for car loans anyway, no biggie. They said everything was approved with the credit union, so we went back to sign the papers with Curtis. We had a monthly payment amounts that werent willing to comprise on, so Curtis had a difficult time selling us all the extras. How wonderful that Curtis was able to extend the length of the loan, to allow us to purchase some of the extras and keep our payment at a level that was just a little above our maximum. Everything is great, signed papers, and left in our new KIA. About a week later, we get a call from Curtis. He needs us to drive back to the dealership and re-sign some paper work, since our credit union was unwilling to finance for the term extention. They dropped the term of the loan back to the original offer and kept all the original extras making our monthly payment much higher than we wanted to go. If we were told this in the beginning, we wouldnt have purchased the KIA. We drive another 100 miles back down to Camelback KIA. Apparently Curtis has been summons to a training and isnt able to attend our re-signing event. I expressed my displeasure at the situation, and explained that I would like to have my trade-in back and they could have their KIA. The Curtis representative crudely explains that we signed an agreement and cant get our truck back..so sorry. We were forced to sign and except the KIA and our new monthly payment. All the paperwork is ready, Curtis had already signed everything before he went to his training. This gentleman pointed out that all the information was the same, and we just needed to sign. I was so angry that I just wanted to run through the dealership and scream to all the potential buyers to RUN AWAY. After returning home, I was surprised to get a notice from KIA finance of our payment arrangements. KIA? What happened to the credit union? Our loan was not the 4.45% that the Credit Union offered, but now 6.9% through KIA finance. Looking at the second set of paperwork, I signed the document that clearly stated 6.9% financed through KIA. This is my bad, and I realize there is nothing I can do about it. I am hoping to insure that other people can read this and not be so trusting. All in all, I love my KIA, miss my truck. I hope that Curtis enjoys the perks that he received for selling me my extras. I will refinance my KIA soon enough, and you my friend, will still be making your money through shady commission sales.
