Jaguar Corporation mailed a recall for the air bag for my Jaguar. The closet one was this place in Albany, NY. Paul the service manager is the one who accepted my jaguar at 1100 am. At 5:30 pm I recieved a call that my Jaguar was complete. I get in my Jaguar start driving 5 miles and I go to turn on the A/C and it does not come on then I notice dents and scratches on the cover that was removed for the airbag to be replaced. So I call them about my concerns because this was not an issue when I dropped it off. I sit there till 800 pm. I told the guy at the service department that I had appointments that evening and Saturday morning till Sunday. He tells me they are going to fix the issue and gave me a loaner. Friday after my appointment I see that Paul has called me to return the loner so I called to see if they have fixed the issues that I was concerned about. He said yes!. He also says that my car is old and the parts get damaged sometimes and they will never fit the same way again.... So I cut my appointments short seeming I was 3 hours away. When I arrive at the Albany dealership I get in my car and the A/C works but I still have a damaged face plate on my Jaguar. I called Jaguar Corporation since they are the ones that claimed the airbag was a danger to my passenger and I must change it ASAP. They filed a claim for me then a lady calls me and says to take this issue up with the General Manager because it is independently owned and claims that Paul said if I wanted to get the car fixed it would cost me $400.00 for the part plus labor. So I called the General Manager left a message and he has not returned my call. I also reached out to Paul with no responds either. It is obvious this car dealership doesn't care for there customers. You all damaged my car and it is your responsibility to fix it and should have done so while my car was there because I drove 3 hours to have this airbag replaced which now makes me not want to drive my car for fear of the airbag not done correctly. If I have an accident and my passenger dies for a neglectful dealership there will be a lawsuit on your hands. Take responsibility for your wrong doing!!!!!! AND MAKE IT RIGHT FOR MY JAGUAR!!! YOUR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE SO YOUR PAY FOR THE PART AND LABOR!!! STAY CLEAR AWAY FOR THIS CAR DEALERSHIP THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND NOT FIX IT!!!!!!!!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Customer service: really disappointed. No one ever approached me, said hello or can I help you. I left and went back to Keelers and purchased a new GLC 300 Mercedes. Jaguar Albany actually made the final decision for me to purchase a Mercedes. I LOVE my Mercedes, and the entire staff at Keelers are the BEST. I guess that can happen when you judge a book by its cover. I was dress nice, driving a Honda Pilot and had my 5 yr old grandson with. Go figure???
