I brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and exhaust smell in cabin. They diagnosed the problem and fixed the issues that caused the check engine light to come on. However, I had to return a week later because of the exhaust smell. I told them the settings that caused it (A/C not on recirculate mode) and they said they would investigate it. After waiting for an hour, they informed me that they could not replicate the problem. When I got back in my vehicle, I noticed they had the air on recirculate--of course they could not replicate the problem in the wrong setting! I tried to track down a service manager...took 15 minutes. One said he could smell the exhaust...my service manager was visibly frustrated and said that he could keep testing...but it would cost money. I'm not going back...I need to find someone who can tell me why I have exhaust fumes in my cabin when the vents are not on recirculate!!
I have been to this service department 3 times. The first time I went in to fix a problem with my wheel and ebrake. They told me it was the rack and pinion and replaced it for $600. I went back the 2nd time, begrudgingly, because the issue was not fixed. They told me it was the Ebrake. I asked them why the fixed something else when this was the issue and got the run around. They then agreed to fix my Ebrake for another $600 while giving me a $200 store discount. The third and last time I went there was to use my store discount on 4 new tires and an oil change. In the end they told me I couldn't use a $50 coupon I received and my STORE CREDIT at the same time. When I told the service guy that made no sense being that a store credit is currency, he then changed his mind. I realized that the customer is required to question every immediate policy of shadiness or be taken. On top of that, every time I have been I have had to wait for at least 4 hours. The last time I went I got there at 8:30, they said it would be done between 11-12. I left at 1:45. This place should be shut down for taking advantage of customers.
I didn't feel pressured when i went there, everyone was nice and helpful. I bought a car I had been eyeing for a while and the entire process went smoothly. I got a good deal for my trade in. However, I did feel that the service department was a little less helpful when I had tried to get the bluetooth update to my radio installed as I haven't heard back from them yet and it's been over two weeks since they placed the order for it.
My experience with Ourisman CJD was great. Ryan, my salesman, was very helpful and accommodating while I search for the vehicle I wanted. I visited four (4) other dealership after my initial visit to Ourisman and came back to purchase my Liberty there. I truly felt welcomed by Ryan and the staff at Ourisman. I would highly recommend Ourisman CJD if you are looking for an outstanding vehicle and awesome customer service! Kudos Ryan and CA.
I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and new spark plugs just before the warranty expired. When I received the bill, they attempted to charge me over $40 for service parts (I brought my own parts). When I asked the cashier what the charge was for, she just stared at me. Finally another representative showed and I asked him what the charge was. He said it was a charge that is automatically applied, but he did not explain what the charge covered. They did remove the charge though. At the same time, we asked about the check engine light on my moms car. We already know what the error code is, but they wanted to charge $120 per/hr to test the system again before they fix it. We left. I would NOT recommend this service station to anyone.
