I've just returned home after a six hour drive, to a total waste of time visit to this business, my friend had an interest in a 1930's car that looked good, and was described as being wonderful. Before leaving to visit the car, we called to say that we would like to view the car, I asked questions on oil pressure, and I was told to come down and I could see for myself, so we did. We arrived, viewed the car, which I would have to say did not match the description on their web site, I asked to have the car started, and we received a very rude NO, we don't start cars, you will have to see it being started before the auction. Again I asked, this time I explained to the person in charge that I called two days before, and I was advised that I could inspect the car, including testing the oil pressure, told them that we have driven hundreds of miles to see the car, and to test the oil pressure, but again I got a rude, curt, NO. My advise, if you want to buy a car from an auction, or dealer, or private seller make sure they let you look over the car properly, and most important of all, start the car. If any company tells you NO, then simply walk away............ As we did
