We try! Guessing you were looking for some type of machine work and not auto parts. Interested to know what the jobs were since you didn't say. After 32 years in St. Pete and having helped thousands and thousands of good people in those years, we welcome you to stop by again.

Can't truly comment, honestly... Super personable people. Presented them with a couple of unusual challenges, which were not realized. They are a huge Amz oil. Distributer. Which imho, is a good thing! Going to try to offer them one more small challenge. If it works out, I will revise this review. One more chance. Thanks!
Oh Matty.... Not sure how to explain this to you, Again, but we will try. We are very sorry for your perceived problem with our work. WE DID NOT PUT ANY NEW PARTS INTO YOUR CYLINDER HEADS. WE MACHINED ALL OF YOUR ORIGINAL PARTS THAT WERE ALREADY IN THE HEADS YOU BROUGHT US. When you brought them to us, your heads had aftermarket springs and retainers already installed. Somebody had already done the swap before you got them. After cleaning and surveying your 302 (not 289) heads it was determined they needed a valve job. All we did, as in every valve job we do, is grind the valves, grind the seats, knurl the guides and test the springs for tension. All the valves machined up great and so did the seats. The springs had proper tension and everything went back together perfectly. The cost of cleaning and checking the cylinder heads for cracks, doing the valve job and resurfacing the heads cost you $325.00. So not sure where you're getting $700.00 from. After contacting us you said it wouldn't run and was backfiring, immediately saying we did something wrong. Understanding your frustration, we said it's your timing. The next day you called back and said your mechanic got it running but you had no compression on one side. We said OK pull them and we'll run through them again at no charge of course. We said to have your mechanic do a leak down test while they are off to make sure the rings were ok (which should have been done first). Instead of bringing them back you decided to go somewhere else and were told you had the wrong valves and springs in those heads (we remind you, we did not replace any parts - only machined your original valves). What you did in fact have were aftermarket spring and retainers that are used to get rid of the two piece retainer and Roto retainer. You had the correct valves and correct springs for those cylinder heads. The work was done correctly. It is unfortunate you decided to take them to another shop. We have done thousands of heads over the last 34 years in St. Pete with no comebacks ever. We were willing to work with you and help you figure out your problem. This would have cost nothing extra. Also we have no idea what you are referring to when you say you were badmouthed but we do wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Good day, Sir!

This place is terrible. They gave me my heads back with the wrong parts in them. I called to tell them that they messed up and set the phone down and bad mouthed me thinking I was on hold. I refused to bring the heads back to them because this error had already cost me $700 in labor and $100 on a head gasket set. Now they are lying saying that they were after market parts that met the specs of the original heads. They still didn't work so im not sure how this is possible. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!
