Service department not good at all.. very bad experience. Had vehicle way too long and never fixed or properly diagnosed issues.
Worst experience ever at a dealership. They took my keys to evaluate my trade and would not give them back holding me hostage. They switch out salesmen on me to add a 2500 addendum fee. They added a ton of extra items to the cost of vehicle. Took forever to "crunch" the numbers, as if making me invest time there would make me more willing to buy. 1.5 hours later the vehicle increased in cost by nearly 5k. I had to ask for my keys multiple times so I could leave. Went to Dave Dennis and in 1 hour bought the same vehicle for 3k under MSRP. Not 5k over. Got an offer more the 2k in value over what Jeff Wyler offered for the trade, leaving me with over 5k in cost difference. Dave Dennis also discount my extended warranty that I wanted by almost half. With the ten year warranty and sales tax included I still saved over JJW's base deL and was out the door with my vehicle in 1 hour. This place must buy reviews because they pulled every horrid and joked about saled gimmick and manipulation technique for car sales. They have forever lost my business. And I will make sure everyone I knows avoids all Jeff Wyler dealerships. Highly recommend you avoid purchasing here unless you enjoy a truly terrible and manipulative buying experience. Me, I'll pass.
I worked with Curtis. He did a great job over a week. Josh the manager did a fantastic job securing a great finance deal. I appreciated every part of the process
The used car sales team is excellent. I have to admit that.... But their service department is another story. First off, good luck trying to get ahold of anyone. Phone calls just keep going to voice-mail. Secondly, I had a damaged front in on my 2021 Kona. The radar unit that guides the cruise control was not working. And it was being brought in for an oil change. The service department told me it would cost around $2000.00 because the sensor needed replaced. While saving up for the repair. Fortune would have it that I had to send the Kona to a different Hyundai facility in Dayton. After they had it, they said the sensor was just loose from the bracket. The cost for reinstalling it and calibrating was only a couple hundred bucks. Wylers was going to charge me $2000.00!!! Cause they half-@ss did their job. To add to the frustration, they didn't even do the oil change! Thanks guys!
