Had a horrible experience with the service department. Long story short they caused some damage to our vehicle while replacing a headlight. Instead of taking responsibility and handling it properly they tried to get Chrysler to pay for their mistake under warranty, kept delaying our appointment to fix it, and ended up cancelling on us when we did get an appointment once we showed up. The only reason I have changed my original one star review to two stars is that once Rick, the service manager, got involved everything was fixed within a day and a half after getting the run around from everyone else for nearly 3 months. He went above and beyond what was expected of him and what he should have had to do. If the rest of the company handled things the way he did they would be in much better shape.

Our New Jeep Grand Cherokee with 30,000 miles was having transmission issue so we called Moritz (the closest dealership) to schedule an appointment. We stated that it was clearly a warranty issue as the factory powertrain warranty is 5 year / 100,000 miles. The service guy said we could bring it by and they may or may not get around to looking at it in the 3 weeks, no loner car would be provided. I asked if we could schedule an appointment in 3 weeks and he said "No, we don't do appointment it will have to sit here for 3 maybe 4 weeks. I can't promise we will get to it" He then went on to say if I buy their $1,500 extended warranty they will looks at it in the next day or two... Just in case everyone didn't know this is illegal. A dealership cannot make you buy an extended warranty just to service a part already covered under the factory warranty. So if you buy Jeep from Mortiz just consider any factory warranty useless.
