This one star is for the service department. I had to call three times. Left two voicemails. One online submission. Then I eventually got a call back 24 hours later and they told me they are not offering inspections on range rovers anymore??? Are you kidding me? The only range rover dealer in Portland is not offering inspections? How is this even possible. Its mind blowing.
Trying to schedule a service appointment is ridiculous. First availables are a month out and if you need a loaner it is longer. Fortunately my tailgate doesn't open which is inconvenient but doesn't affect driving however it would be nice to be able to speak with someone who can give some insight as to the problem and what might need to be done to correct the problem as well as an estimate for the amount of time it will take to repair. Last time my car was in for service it took 4 weeks as a part had to come from England! I feel like the customer's time isn't as important as the provider's.
Three phone calls over the span of 10 day, where I get transferred to at least 3 people only to end up in someone's voicemail and I still leave a message to purchase an extended warranty. However, no one ever picks up nor bothers to returns the call. This experience made me change my mind about purchasing the Land Rover Evoque period. UPDATE: received a call back with appropriate corrective action. Much happier now.
