Nice and expensive...Very, Very expensive. We purchased 1 lg. Pizza pie @ $21.00, 4 small fountain sodas, 3 bags cotton candy and a plain funnel cake all for the unrealistic price of $61.20...way too much! What a disgrace. All the games are now $5 per game even the basketball game...1 throw for $5 and you get a small prize. I have 3 small kids and playing games was horrible. Eating was horrible, no where to wash the sand off your feet and legs, the site seer tram car is $4 per person...I had 1 child under 3 and they charged for him also. This place makes no sense now. Food is way too expensive, games, clothes, souvenirs and everything else. Beach was ok, cold was with seaweed everywhere.
It's a boardwalk, what more could you want? It's got a great length for walking and biking (I recommend Sportland for rentals!) and the boardwalk food is pretty typical in variation & price. I'm a fan of the broccoli pizza at Sorrento's & fries from Curleys. There's different games, arcades, and things like mini golf along the way but my biggest gripe is that at a certain point it gets repetitive, especially when it comes to the variation of shops. The crowd will depend on the season & day of the week but it was pretty manageable the last two years I've visited, even with an electric scooter in the group. I give it a 3 overall, but the nostalgia factor & company you choose can easily bump that up.
Walked the boardwalk from end to end. Lots of loose boards. My husband tripped on a board that was sticking up. Thankfully he didn't fall. Not impressed with the dinner selection. Was very clean.
