I had bought two residential garage door openers from here and the Hispanic lady had told me that I could return it if didnt need the second one anymore or if it wasnt the right one. Well I came back today and they said that I couldnt return it since they have no way of testing it to see the remote works..its still a brand new remote that wasnt even open yet. If youre going to tell someone they can return an item if its unopened or whatnot, please honor it. Now I wasted $56 something on a brand new remote that I dont even need. The ladies in the residential side were friendly but if you say something, honor it. Smh
We have purchased 1 garage door opener several year ago from ODCH. Last year we purchased 2 garage doors. The power went out and I had to use the safety rope to release the door in order to raise it. When power was restored the safety cord would not allow the door to engage. Upon calling the shop they did tell me to really give it a yank which I did until I was afraid I might damage the unit. The tech came out and spent literally 5 seconds to engage it. He grabbed the arm that attaches the door to engage it rather than the string. OH, and it cost 104.00 for that 5 second visit. I am not casting any shade toward the tech.
BAD SERVICE with NO CARE ATTITUDE. Will not use this company again! The tech did not text ahead of time. After the tech reviewed my repair I received a text an hour later stating he was on his way. Next text was to rate the tech, (he was good). then a text to confirm that we paid a $35 quote fee. The repair quote was e-mailed later in the day with someone else, name and job address, When I called the main office to ask for my quote they were rude in the fact that this seems as though it could never happen. once we finally got OGD to e-mail the repair quote I tried to ask how long it would take to order parts for repair but they hung up on me. BAD SERVICE with NO CARE ATTITUDE. Do not use this company.
