I would give zero stars if that was an option. We have several Hennepin County offices but they are all closed if you want to get something from the vital statistics. Why is Anoka County, Wright County, Scott County, etc every county except for Hennepin County that you can walk in and order a copy certificate from Vital Statistics. You can't even talk to a live person! SO FRUSTRATING!!! DEFINITELY MAKES YOU THINK TWICE WHERE YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR THINGS!!!

Hennepin county is by far one of the WORST counties in Minnesota. The county workers are all incompetent and unprofessional and none seems to know how to do the simple basics of their job. They do not follow up or follow through and will leave a case untouched for months without ever communicating with you. They make it harder on you if you are a #singlemother trying to do better for herself and her children. Whoever said this is a woman's state was wrong. If you are a #woman living in #hennepincounty you can expect to be treated unfairly. If you are a woman do not expect help or assistance. If you are a #blackwoman DO NOT expect ANYTHING especially help or justice of any kind. It feels a little stupid to write a review for the DMV, but all the reviews are right because this place is full of the friendliest and most helpful people. I've never had a more pleasant DMV experience in my entire life and I wish Bridgette would run the whole department state wide because she is awesome.

Mom I am frustrated I only get $100 in food benefits every month and have NEVER had a budget for real food all month let alone a varied menu to the point where I think it even makes me ill: I skip meals, cant even make sandwiches all month, and at BEST keep on with frozen pizzas and pasta and even can tell when I have a food group I havent had in ages because I instantly "feel better" it has been 10 YEARS since I have struggled with the County and then made a single full grocery run. These people have nothing left to do with it. Cant we work something out so I eat REAL food every day?! I can cook but all I do is make grilled cheese and pizza and let alone the Holidays! (And when they blew through "having a kid") I may have not cooked while at Saint Olaf College but I would like to LIVE.
