Very upset with the way NES has handled my enrollment for summer classes. First, I am an Americorps alumnus receiving and education award. I enrolled during May and have had nothing but problems. A payment was posted to my account which belonged to another student, then I was dropped because payment had not been received. I have had to check on this myself and called the corporation which stated NES has an agreement with them for electronic payment and is aware of their protocol which is to release payment a week prior to classes starting. I should have never been dropped from the course. Very disappointed about the entire situation. My payment was received Thursday, May 30, 2013 and class begins tomorrow. I have tried in vain to get this resolved and to date I have received no information as to whether I was added back to the roll. I simply wanted to attend class this summer using the award I have earned. I understand things happen and can go wrong at time, but surely I should have been notified of my status being that summer classes start Tuesday, June 4. I am going to class because you have my payment.

This school is a joke. Avoid it if you can. They make their students jump through hoops and take their money with promises of a refund, but then give them the runaround for months. They are unorganized and the staff members have no idea what they are doing. Every time you talk to someone in the Financial Aid office, you get different answers- very inconsistent. I wish my Son had chosen a different school...

The staff are awesome, but their system is broken. EVERY SINGLE SEMESTER something different happens that causes all my classes to be dropped and without fail I have to drive to campus to re-register for all my classes. They offer very few classes that are good for adults returning to college with TN Reconnect as their online classes tend to be Gen Ed and their available classes after 4pm are almost all in the same time slots. Very frustrating experience so far.
