I highly suggest you ask if there is construction before booking! This was a gift to myself for my 40th birthday. I wanted to getaway with my sons do some exploring and relax. I thought this looked perfect. Upon arrival I noticed it hadn't been cleaned as they stated so I did my own thorough wipe down which really wasn't a bother. The part that was a bother came at 7:45 a.m. in the form of hammering and saws. We couldn't enjoy being outside with the constant noise. That swing you see overlooking the ravine we sat on for 2 minutes because our conversation was constantly interrupted with hammering and our view of the construction was really anxiety provoking. After letting Julian know; he wasn't empathetic and thought 10% refunded would be sufficient. We will not be recommending or returning. Very expensive disappointment. Thankfully Steve and Martin at High Rock Adventures and Jackie at Equestrian Stables made the 10 hour round trip worth while.
I already booked for the fall 2020 and spring 2021. Everything was top shelf, and being up in the trees was amazing. The host are incredible. If you want a romantic little get away, or a place to enjoy your family this a perfect choice. I can't wait until my next stay there.
These are so expensive which I understand. But why would you pay the same price for a cabin that sleeps 2 and a cabin that sleeps up to 6 or 8.
