Hey Adam. Thank you for your feedback. Permits are absolutely the hardest part of our league operations. We are at the mercy of the permit office each season. We try hard to get the parks and times players tell us they are most interested in, but you are right, we don't always get them. Thursday Kickball in Arlington has been a particularly tough one for us. I'm sorry we didn't get that spot this season (little league soccer beat us out this year :(...) but we do have a Tuesday Kickball offering in Arlington and other Thursday offerings if you are able to travel into DC. We will keep working on it. I'll reach out to you personally as well to connect more.

Arlington kickball league has been advertised as Thursday nights for 3 straight seasons and they never get the permit for it. Dont even waste your time with this place.
Meredith, We are sorry to hear your general frustration with on the field ref calls and sponsor bars. These are two area, particularly particularly covid, that are challenge areas, and also quite subjective. We hope the opportunity to connect friends, build relationships, and to stay active were at least partially why you have played with us for so long. If you have a moment to provide more specific // actionable feedback you can reach me directly at [email protected]. Thank you for your long running participation. We hope we can serve you in the future.

I have played for the past 5+ years and I am ashamed that I kept coming back after bad calls, time cut short, umpires not knowing the rules and poor sponsor bars. If you are new to the area, I suggest you look into other leagues.
Mollie! We are so glad you could attend and that you enjoyed the event. Our goal is to make fun possible and to be a champion for the amazing things the people in our community are doing. We hope to see you at our next event!

I had a chance to attend the last installment of United Frays Only in DC event at Culture House this December. The featured artists and vendors were exciting to see. It was beautiful to attend such a diverse event that featured artists that I follow that are native to the city. Im proud to support a local organization that is involved with our community. We had a really fun time!
Ashley, congrats on the newborn! I have 3 little ones myself, I know that joy! We are sorry for the disruptions we all experienced during covid. We made the hard decision to issue credits, as tens of thousands of businesses did, during covid to ensure we could continue to exist and drive our mission to make fun possible forward. While the league game play is the experience players hold in their minds, many other costs and work go into the league, including insurance, permits, marketing, promotion, pre season customer service, etc. When covid caused the shut down of 100% of our leagues days before the spring season much of the work had been in progress and simply put, no small business could have handled that crush. Refunds would have been pennies on the dollar. Instead we made the call to offer 100% player credits for any future league or virtual event we hosted. Your credits can also be transfered to other players. As a small business born and raised here in DC that values community, gratitude, positivity and innovation we are proud of the thousands of players who choose to join us in making fun possible. I know your particular situation is not ideal and I am sorry for that. We are doing the best we can to turn a bad situation around and indeed, while there are still many challenges ahead we are excited and proud that leagues are returning back to the city.

This review is specifically for the administration side of the company. They have terrible customer service. My husband paid over a $100 to sign up for a basketball league as a first time customer. The league was cancelled due to COVID restrictions and by the time they re-opened, work scheduling and a newborn took the extra time he had to be able to sign up. We contacted the company to ask for a refund as we knew our credit would be wasted money. The response we received was sorry, credit only and we could sign up for a virtual experience? I would not recommend this place solely on the fact they seem to care more about making money than customer satisfaction.
