I want to start of by saying I wasnt even able to use HQ customs services because they refused to work on my project from the first phone call. I emailed them a week ago about my project giving them all the information I could about what I wanted in my van. A week passes but no email was received. So I decide to call and the sales team answers. The guy on the phone tells me that he received my email but cant help me. So no email back then?? He said we have other more important projects going on. I asked if they would be able to do it later or is there someone else you can refer me too. He continued to say no we cant help you theres nobody else and that was it end of phone call. Worst customer service Ive had. This is sad because van conversion companys have a very close and professional relationship with customers. This is also the best rated company in my area. I will never be calling this place again.
I contacted this company inquiring about hiring them to build out my mobile van conversion for my business. At first, I found Lenny, the sales representative, to be professional and helpful, but as our conversations went on, he continuously spoke over me and did not work with me to find optimal or creative solutions to concerns that arose. He pointed me towards only the most expensive powering options, at one point interrupted me saying I was "not listening" to him, when in fact I was simply trying to understand and clarify what he was saying (as it was very technical). This is basic customer service. You cannot expect a customer to understand every aspect of something that you are an expert in... Throughout our exchanges, he refused to answer my direct pricing questions on components when I asked, then finally, after a 30+ minute conversation, he asked what my budget was...and when I told him, he promptly shut me down without offering any additional solutions. I attempted to elicit additional solutions that would work within my budget, but he was clearly not interested in any further discussion. Frankly, overall, the conversations I had felt demeaning and one-sided (not collaborative), and I left feeling disrespected. I'm sure a solution could have been reached, especially given that my 20K budget had a nice amount of wiggle room... I was initially super hopeful about being able to hire this company, but these interactions left me with a bad impression. Would not recommend (especially if you are a woman).
