We take our customer service and business very seriously, its the reason weve been in business for more than 23 years. Without our amazing guests and incredible service, we are nothing. This is why I have taken the time, as I do with all less than stellar experiences, to spend a moment reviewing the situation that you have posted here. After speaking with the front desk, Andi and reviewing our cameras with time stamps, I have found that you arrived 13 mins after your appointment time and your boyfriend was still out parking the car. As we told you on the phone we have a maximum grace period of 10 mins, even still, Andi met with your boyfriend to see if she could accommodate. Once it was assessed more time was needed, she and YOU agreed to reschedule for her next available appointment (with adequate time), which was an hour later. We dont overbook appointments, you were late and our shop is quite busy. You and your boyfriend left seemingly understanding and willing to coming back. To our surprise, you shortly after called with rude and unprofessional language about your disappointment, canceled your boyfriends appointment and posted this name calling review. All because you were late. Andi is truly one of the kindest humans there is and this review was completely upsetting to her, especially after all that she did to try to accommodate you! My advice, be on time, be kind, and from the way you spoke to my staff, please dont worry about ever coming back!

So we made an appointment and my boyfriend said what he wanted while making his appointment.. and We were a little late so we called them as we were driving and the receptionist said we have a ten minute window. So we got there within that window. When my boyfriend gets there she has no idea what he wanted done to his hair and said she does not have enough time for what he wanted even though he mentioned what he wanted while making the appointment. Super unprofessional andi was rude af and clueless the entire time of what needed to be done. And blamed that they over book appointments. She said we can reschedule but why the hell would I reschedule if she over books appointments and rushes hair. I would not recommend this place or make sure to not have andi as your barbor. Rudest person alive.
I passed this shop few times and it looked cool from outside. When I needed urgent haircut before my interview, I called them midday and was able to get in within 15 min. Julie was great, attentive and educational about both my hair and products I can use. And shampooing after haircut...feel like a baby again! Anytime I'm in West Hollywood and need haircut, I'm back at Shorty's!
Love to travel to best barbers around the world call this place grab an Uber and travel across town in the busy City. Arrive to be told sorry no shaves today, when advised earlier in the day no appointment necessary just walk in when I tried to make an appointment.
