Not high on customer service. I called up and asked Leo, a salesman, if he could tell me whether a car had leather. He said, "Hey, I got over a hundred cars heah, drive down and take a look." I asked if I could speak to the owner. He hung up on me. Nice guy. I won't be going to North South. Caveat Emptor.
They are pretty good about picking up the phone and answering questions. However, people should know that while the website says they are "asking" a certain price, they are not willing to negotiate all.
I bought a 2008 Mazda iSport here some years ago now. I've had maintenance issues, including a big catalytic converter fix, BUT it's a car...Overall, I was so happy for the price compared to the Blue Book value, and my car, which I bought with low mileage, is still running great. I wanted to leave this review to balance out some of the negative ones. They do fix cars and sell them...I would hope they aren't ripping people off, but maybe it's just not a perfect art. Pay your own mechanic to inspect the car if you must.
The best car experience I ever had. I called about a car I saw. The man, Leo told me it was there and to come and test drive it. He was upfront about the cars being repair titles. They had been salvaged and then repaired, inspected and marked repaired on the title. This meant to me that they are able to be financed and insured like any other vehicle. Anyway, when I got to North South we walked outside and saw many vehicles with the miles prices and details clearly on the window. There were no high pressure sales, just us. We went in and were given the keys to the vehicles we chose and a plate that we could transfer ourselves. It was great. When we chose a car, we asked for a tire. TIM had a new tire put on, had the car aligned, and it came with a sticker. No high pressure sales. Great customer service. Amazing prices. Highly recommended.
Very unprofessional. First off I was outside for about thirty minutes and no one bothered to help. Next the owner of the place was sitting in his office shirtless, first time ever been to a dealership that the owner was talking to me shirtless. The car I was looking at was covered in pollin and bird poop. All of the cars are rebuilt but I knew that going in, but on the car you can see where they fixed the parts and they are not new but they are bent and tac welded back into place. As the price of the cars, they are high, only a couple thousand under a clean title car. Not worth it if you are ever going to sell it its worth trade not even the trade in value. And if you ever want to trade it in most dealers will give you half the trade in value because of the title. As far as negotiations with the owner, forget it. Even though they buy all the cars at auction and he does all the work in house, they feel it is worth almost book price. They give you the receipts which is nice but for putting in 500$ or work they feel it adds 3-6k to the value when most of the parts are not new! Owner is unprofessional and delusional about thethe prices. Do your homework before buying here dont even bother walking in with cash and putting a fair offer in. the price on the car is the price he thinks its worth after a cheap fix. And they guarantee inspection stickers and emissions because he can put them on himself.
